Elle Callahan is an American genre film director, writer, and sound designer. She is known for directing Witch Hunt (2021) and Head Count (2018). Her films have premiered at SXSW and LAFF respectively. She is known to sound design her own films. Elle was born and raised in Westborough, Massachusetts as Elizabeth Wilkinson Callahan. She attended the University of Southern California where she studied Film & Television Production at the USC School of Cinematic Arts from 2011-2014. She further extended her studies at FAMU International in Prague, Czech Republic during 2014. Elle specializes in the genres of mystery and magic realism.
