As previously confirmed, a Duck Dynasty reboot is on the way… with all the details you could ever ask for having now been made public.

After eight years off the air, Duck Dynasty will taking flight once again with a new series title Duck Dynasty: The Revival, A&e announced on January 22.

It will premiere summer in 2025 and it will follow Willie Robertson, wife Korie Robertson and “their growing family of adult children and grandchildren, the next generation of Robertsons living on the family homestead in Louisiana,” based on to the network’s press release a few days ago.

It’s been over seven years since the Robertsons were on A&e, and despite some controversy with patriarch Phil Robertson, they are back working together to bring the show millions still watch back to life.

Variety reports that the new series will be called Duck Dynasty: The Revival, and the network has given the new series a two-season 20-episode order. It will premiere sometime this summer on A&e.

The original Duck Dynasty ran from 2012 to 2017 and followed the Robertson family and their duck call business in Louisiana. The new series will, according to the network, not feature family patriarch Phil Robertson, who, per NBC News back in December 2013, made homophobic and racially charged comments about African-Americans during the Civil Rights era. A&e is bringing the series back with Duck Dynasty: The Revival with a two-season order of 20 episodes in total. It will premiere in the summer.

The new season will focus on Willie and Korie Robertson and their growing family of adult children and grandchildren, the next generation of Robertsons living on the family homestead in Louisiana.

It will not, however, feature Phil Robertson, the controversial patriarch of the family, who has said some things in the past that have been homophobic and was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.

The show also has a new production company; it will be produced by Wheelhouse’s Spoke Studios and Willie and Korie Robertson’s Tread Lively Productions.

This comes after legal trouble at Gurney Productions, the ITV-owned company that originally produced the series.

Willie and Korie Robertson have shared their love story with the world through Duck Dynasty.

They have been married for 33 years and are grandparents.

Their testimony has been shared before, and the couple met while in youth group.

Korie acknowledged their anniversary and accompanied her sweet sentiment with several throwback photos highlighting their lifetime together.
