From Celina Texas, she got involved in performing after being diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy and having open heart surgery at 5 years old. This led to her speaking to crowds at donor events for Children's Medical Center where she discovered a love for making people laugh. She attended and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BFA in Acting. After college she moved to Los Angeles and began pursuing comedy. She regularly writes and directs sketches and performs stand up at local clubs and open mics.
