Biography

    • David Díaz Horcajo was born on May 28, 1986 in Madrid, Spain. He began his studies at the "Lycée Français of Madrid". At 10 he discovered his passion for cinema after watching Metropolis (1927). At 14 he wrote his first screenplay (a feature film starring his high school friends) and at 16 he made his first short film. In 2003 he went to the "Colegio Lourdes" when he began to study audiovisual communication and after that he got into the RTVE Institute between 2006 and 2008. There he wrote and directed Con la muerte en los tacones (2007) and Ridiculus Mortis: Solo la muerte se flipa 2 veces (2007), both awarded by the institute in 2007 with "Best 2 Days Short Film" and "Best Director" price. In 2010 he created with Juan Pérez the online cinema program Edición Especial Coleccionista (2010). Now he directs, writes, acts and edits his own projects.
