Michael Maino

Michael Maino was born in Jersey City, NJ, and is the eldest of Peter and Ida Maino's four children. He is of Italian descent.
While attending St. Peter's College in Jersey City, Michael joined its Drama Club which began his life-long passion for acting. He later graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature.
Upon graduation he joined Brett Warren's Actor's Mobile Theater in Manhattan. He also performed in off-off Broadway plays with various other groups such as the Irish Arts Center. He continued training in New York up until the late '90s.
Since then, Michael has become a full-time actor. In 2011 he completed a 3-year course with the New Jersey School of Dramatic Arts which led to numerous roles in student and independent films, web series, an industrial commercial, and music videos. He also joined SAG-AFTRA at that time.
After relocating to the Greater Los Angeles area, Michael has worked in independent films, national commercials, and live theater. His performance in Coming to Terms earned him Best Actor - Short at the 2016 Action on Film Festival, and Best Ensemble Cast at the January 2016 Los Angeles Independent Film Festival Awards.
Michael lives in the South Bay with his wife of 30+ years. He credits a great deal of his success to his only daughter.
