Enid Sinclair might just be one of the most powerful characters in Netflix‘s Wednesday. But the show keeps pushing her into the background. With her newfound strength and her ability to connect with Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega), Enid has everything it takes to steal the spotlight. However, she’s mostly stuck playing sidekick. She’s here only supporting Wednesday’s story without her moment to truly shine.
The new Season 2 trailer dropped a surprise twist. It includes a glimpse of Enid’s gravestone and Wednesday’s words, “Enid dies, and it’s all my fault.” That’s a huge shock to fans who have loved Enid since season 1. But if this isn’t just one of her eerie visions, it could mean the show is about to write off its brightest character. And honestly, this would be a massive missed opportunity.

The arrival of the Wednesday season 2 trailer raises several questions, from Addams family secrets to the reveal that one of Wednesday's most trusted friends may not be alive for much longer, and Wednesday (Jenna Ortega) herself could be responsible.
Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones), Gomez (Luis Guzmán), and Pugsley (Isaac Ordonez) are all set to make a splash at Nevermore Academy as they step into larger roles in the series, but perhaps the standout moment of the trailer is the revelation that Wednesday has a vision that she will eventually be the cause of Enid's untimely death.
From the look of the trailer, season 2 may be focusing on Wednesday and Enid's relationship as the core of the series. The season 2 trailer suggests that the season may be mostly about Wednesday's quest to save Enid (Emma Myers) from a deadly fate.

Morticia’s determined that won’t happen on her watch, and Wednesday promises she’ll save her roomie or die trying.

Jenna Ortega returns as the delightfully morbid and gloomy Wednesday Addams in the new trailer for Wednesday season 2. She's joined by the rest of the Addams family, including the return of Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams, Fred Armisen as Lurch. and Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams—who begins his own Nevermore Academy journey. The Addams family will expand this season, introducing equally kooky additions such as Absolutely Fabulous star Joanna Lumley as Grandmama Hester Frump.
Ortega herself has promised that season 2 will forgo the cheesy love triangle stuff in favor of a more horror-focused season, and the trailer does a great job of highlighting the tonal shift. It appears that the fan-favorite friendship between Wednesday and her roommate/bestie Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers) will be front and center this time around. Updated with the latest: Wednesday’s sophomore season has become the latest to get the two-part release treatment from Netflix.
After the runaway success of Netflix and Tim Burton’s Addams Family stand-alone series Wednesday starring Jenna Ortega, the streamer renewed it for a second season in January 2023. That decision came less than three months after the eight-episode Season 1 premiered. It eventually became the most-watched original series ever on the streamer, with more than 252 million views to date, far surpassing Stranger Things Season 4, Dahmer, and Season 1 of Bridgerton on the all-time list.
Season 1 received 12 Emmy nominations, including for Ortega in Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. She became just the third Latina ever to be nominated in a leading actress category. The series won four Emmys, though Ortega lost out to Abbott Elementary‘s Quinta Brunson on Emmy night.

Netflix has finally dropped the trailer for Wednesday Season 2 Part 1, and things are looking gloomier, deadlier, and far more complicated for our favorite gothic sleuth. Returning to Nevermore Academy, Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) finds herself entangled in another dark mystery—one that threatens her closest relationships and even her grip on reality.
Enid’s Life Hangs in the Balance
At the heart of the new trailer lies a terrifying revelation: Wednesday envisions the death of her roommate and best friend, Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers), and believes she may be the cause. “Enid dies, and it’s all my fault,” Wednesday admits, setting the stage for a high-stakes season. The bond between the werewolf and the clairvoyant will be pushed to its limits as Wednesday races against time to save Enid from her ominous fate.
“Enid and Wednesday understand each other now on a deeper level,” Myers shares, hinting at a more emotionally layered friendship.

A new year brings new woes, especially for Jenna Ortega's Wednesday Addams, who finds herself labeled a "hero" at Nevermore Academy. Mystery and mayhem abound in Netflix’s official trailer for Wednesday Season Two. The trailer starts with a clip similar to that of the teaser released in April, with Wednesday’s mother Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones) commenting that her daughter Wednesday (Jenna Ortega) returning to Nevermore Academy marks the first time she elected to go back to a school of her own accord. Wednesday likens it to “Returning to the scene of the crime. I already know where all the bodies are buried.”

Netflix has unveiled the trailer for ‘Wednesday’ Season 2, and it looks like our favourite gothic sleuth is sharpening her knives — and her wit — for a much darker chapter at Nevermore Academy.

The teaser is stylish and shadowy, offering glimpses of ominous new threats, strange visions, and cryptic messages that suggest Wednesday’s troubles are far from over.

After a long wait, Netflix is gearing up to release Wednesday Season 2. With a two-part season split, the Jenna Ortega-led series will feature a major change.
Wednesday Season 1 premiered in 2022. However, it took a long time for Netflix to confirm a release date for the second season. Luckily, in the last few months, the streamer has been treating fans to little snippets of what to expect from the darker, less romance-focused second installment. Now, the streamer has finally dropped the official trailer for Season 2.
The new trailer shows Wednesday returning to Nevermore Academy for the new academic year, marking the first time she "willingly" went back to any school. However, that doesn't come without some peril. Following her return, she realizes she's a legend among her new peers. But things take a turn when Wednesday has a vision of her best friend and roommate, Enid Sinclair, dying.

Another year at Nevermore Academy is almost upon us, and what better way to celebrate than with the official trailer for Season 2 of Wednesday?
Dropping in two parts on Aug. 6 and Sept. 3, the show’s second season finds Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) returning to school — or “the scene of the crime,” as she calls it in the trailer — where she’s hailed as “the savior of Nevermore,” a title she takes on with great reluctance. And if her visions of Enid’s (Emma Myers) impending death turn out to be true, she may be forced to play the savior yet again.

Enid is dead, and it's all Wednesday's fault. No wait, that's just a vision. Netflix has released an intense trailer for Wednesday Season 2 while Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Phantom of the Opera" plays. Jenna Ortega returns as Wednesday Addams, back to Nevermore, now joined by her brother Pugsley (Isaac Ordonez). When Wednesday returns, she's greeted by Steve Buscemi's Barry Dort who is the new principal of Nevermore. It's then Wednesday realizes that her reputation precedes her, in a way she never expected after saving the school at the end of Season 1.
As she battles with hero worship, her visions worsen, and she foresees the death of Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers). That seems to be Wednesday's wake-up call to get a grip on her advancing visions. She seeks out the counsel of her mother Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones) and her Grandmama Hester Frump (Joanna Lumley). Morticia particularly affected by Wednesday's plight,...

The first season of “Wednesday” remains Netflix’s second most-watched season of television to date, ranking only behind the first season of “Squid Game.” In the new trailer for “Wednesday” Season 2, Jenna Ortega’s titular Addams Family downer is dealing with a similar kind of popularity.
Suffice it to say, she’s not the biggest fan.
Netflix released the official trailer for “Wednesday” Season 2 Part 1 on Wednesday morning (ha) in anticipation of the show’s two-part release. The trailer shows the young Addams heroine returning to Nevermore Academy as a new mystery threatens the life of someone she loves — at least, as much as Wednesday loves anyone.
You can watch the trailer above.

Season 2 of “Wednesday” will follow the Addams family daughter (Jenna Ortega) through a mission to save her roommate, Enid (Emma Myers), from impending doom.
In a trailer for the Season, Wednesday’s face is streaked with black tears. “I know what those tears mean. What did you see?” asks Wednesday’s mother, Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones). Quietly, Wednesday replies, “Enid dies and it’s all my fault.” The scene cuts to Wednesday’s vision: She’s in a graveyard next to a headstone that reads “In memory of Enid Sinclair,” and Enid appears, putting her hands around Wednesday’s throat and shouting, “I died because of you!” In voiceover as the trailer continues, Wednesday says, “Secrets are the bedrock of the Addams family. The sooner I get answers, the sooner I can save Enid — or die trying.”

Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) returns to Nevermore Academy in the trailer for Season 2 of Netflix’s Wednesday, revealing some “mysterious and kooky” plot details.
“How does it feel?” Morticia Addams (Catherine Zeta-Jones) asks her titular daughter in the trailer, as the family arrives with her at Nevermore to drop her off.
She responds dryly, “Like returning to the scene of the crime. I already know where the bodies are buried.”
Watch the trailer above.
Wednesday is focused on getting where she needs to be when she is approached by a bubbly man dressed in head-to-toe purple. This is her new principal, Barry Dort (Steve Buscemi), who refers to Wednesday as the savior of Nevermore, a comment connected to her heroic deeds in Season 1. Much to the famous pupil’s chagrin, she also has a bevy of fangirls hoping to get their queen’s autograph.

Jenna Ortega’s Wednesday Addams may hate being celebrated as the hero after saving Nevermore Academy in season one, but that doesn’t mean she won’t “die trying” to save her best friend in season two.
While it may be the first time Wednesday has “ever willingly returned to a school,” as Morticia Addams (Catherine Zeta-Jones) points out in the newly released trailer for season two of Netflix’s Wednesday, Ortega’s character has her reasons. Wednesday actually likens her return to Nevermore to “returning to the scene of the crime,” because “I already know where the bodies are buried.”
However, there’s one body she doesn’t want to bury this season: her best friend Enid (Emma Myers). “Enid dies and it’s all my fault,” Wednesday teases in the season two, part one, trailer (below) after her mother asks what she saw after seeing the black tears running down Wednesday’s face.

New year, new woes. In the trailer forWednesday Season 2, Part 1, Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) is back at Nevermore Academy and facing a fresh threat: During one of her psychic visions, she learns that her best friend and roommate Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers) will die — and that she’s somehow responsible. “Enid dies, and it’s all my fault,” she says.
“Wednesday definitely has to navigate a lot of relationships in Season 2, primarily with her mother and with Enid,” co-creator Miles Millar tells Tudum. “She discovers that those relationships are treacherous and it’s not easygoing. We really wanted to find some new obstacles for Wednesday. She thinks she has it all under control, and discovers that human interaction isn’t as easy as she thought.”
“Enid and Wednesday understand each other now on a deeper level,” Myers tells Tudum. “It’s fun to explore that friendship with Jenna.”

Netflix subscribers know of the score of mystery shows on the streamer. There are the spy thrillers like The Night Agent, the various Harlan Coben dramas, and more. Many involve searching for a missing person and often with a supernatural edge.
However, Netflix is home to a bevy of terrific classic murder mystery shows as well. They can range from sprawling casts with whodunnits to a few more like police procedurals. They all involve searching for a killer, often in a tight setting and play well with the clues and twists. If you’re a classic murder mystery fan, each of these shows is worth looking into for a fun ride, as only Netflix can provide.

Wednesday – Jenna Ortega’s Character And Enid’s Friendship (Photo Credit – Instagram)
Forget the crushes and monsters. The most heartwarming thing Wednesday gave us wasn’t some dark mystery or a dramatic kiss. It was Enid and Wednesday, a rainbow wrapped around a thundercloud, showing us that friendship can be the most powerful plot twist of all.
From the very start of Wednesday, it’s obvious the two roommates couldn’t be more different. The lead character, Wednesday (played by Jenna Ortega), is all gloom and sharp stares. Enid is all glitter and pastel claw polish. Their first few scenes together play out like a classic odd-couple setup. But what sneaks up on you is how this clash of personalities slowly melts into something much deeper, something that feels like home.
Why Wednesday & Enid’s Friendship Worked And How It Quietly Redefines Ride-Or-Die Loyalty
This isn’t a friendship built on fixing.

Before it hit theaters in early April, few people believed A Minecraft Movie could be profitable. The first trailer received backlash, especially for lead star Jack Black, and fans of the video game weren't thrilled with the colorful visuals.
Critics were even less impressed, as A Minecraft Movie debuted with mixed reviews, leading to a "rotten" 53% score on Rotten Tomatoes. However, none of those things mattered because to say A Minecraft Movie exceeded expectations is an understatement. After nearing $1 billion at the box office, A Minecraft Movie is now a major global hit on streaming, too, FlixPatrol reveals.
A Minecraft Movie debuted on Max on June 20 and on June 22, it was already a smash hit. On its first day, which didn't include all the territories where the film was available, A Minecraft Movie was the No. 1 film in 28 countries. On its second day, its feat nearly doubled, and it topped the charts in 47 countries.
