“Wednesday definitely has to navigate a lot of relationships in Season 2, primarily with her mother and with Enid,” co-creator Miles Millar tells Tudum. “She discovers that those relationships are treacherous and it’s not easygoing. We really wanted to find some new obstacles for Wednesday. She thinks she has it all under control, and discovers that human interaction isn’t as easy as she thought.”

Jack Black will reprise his role as the character Officer Dick in the upcoming skateboarding video game remake, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4, which is set for release on July 11th.

According to Variety, the actor will not only return as the high school security guard from 2020’s Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, but he will also play Dick’s twin from the UK, Constable Richard.

“Richard Ennvee was mocked by other skaters and called a ‘poser,'” reads the official description of Black’s character. “Overtaken by the need for revenge, Dick vowed to one day become what those skaters feared most — the long arm of the law!”

The 2025 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards took over the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica on Saturday. The annual slime-filled celebration, hosted by singer Tyla and featuring performances by Machine Gun Kelly and Katseye, included appearances by Jack Black, Auliʻi Cravalho, Benny Blanco, Terry Crews, Ice Spice, and Sza.

Before getting thoroughly gooed, Black was honored with a blimp and named the King of Comedy in recognition of his career. Before it hit theaters in early April, few people believed A Minecraft Movie could be profitable. The first trailer received backlash, especially for lead star Jack Black, and fans of the video game weren't thrilled with the colorful visuals.

Critics were even less impressed, as A Minecraft Movie debuted with mixed reviews, leading to a "rotten" 53% score on Rotten Tomatoes. However, none of those things mattered because to say A Minecraft Movie exceeded expectations is an understatement.
