Ginny & Georgia’s Wild Theory Has Me Convinced the Apple Didn’t Fall Far From the Knife
Image
From the moment Season 2 of Ginny & Georgia left us hanging with the shocking mercy killing of Cynthia’s husband, Tom, viewers have not been able to look past Georgia’s dark instincts. With the record-breaking Season 3 unfolding, Georgia’s trial and Ginny’s chess-like antics to save her mother, there’s one question that looms large: could Ginny have inherited her mother’s darkness?

The parallels between Ginny and Georgia are stark, and it’s starting to feel like Ginny isn’t just taking after Georgia; she’s stepping into her shadow. Reddit threads are abounding with wild theories about Ginny even killing someone, becoming a replica of her mother in Season 4. Amid the trial full of twisted loyalties, Season 3 gave us a peek into who Ginny is growing up to be.

"I Can Try My Best": ‘Ginny & Georgia’ Star Reacts to Austin’s Growth Spurt in Season 3
Image
The third season of Ginny & Georgia has begun streaming on Netflix and Georgia's (Brianne Howey) trial for the murder of Tom Fuller (Vincent Legault) serves as the main draw. Key to how the course of events travel is Diesel La Torraca who plays Austin, Georgia's son in the Netflix series. The character is the nine-year-old little brother to Ginny (Antonia Gentry) and son of Georgia, and while he might have remained the same age throughout the show's three seasons, Torraca has visibly grown in that time. Now aged 14, the actor's contrasting age with his character has been the subject of online jokes. However, La Torraca has since taken them in good faith.

Speaking to Screen Rant, the actor revealed that he wasn't aware of how the coming season might deal with Austin's age. La Torraca does reveal that the upcoming episodes should pick up after the summer when Ginny returns from Korea.

‘Ginny & Georgia’ Fans Still Support the Show For Unleashing Taylor Swift’s Fiery Wrath With a “deeply sexist” Joke
Image
Netflix’s Ginny & Georgia recently premiered its Season 3 and proved to be more iconic than ever. With more drama, secrets, and a fresh round of bad decisions, the chaotic mother-daughter duo once again won over audiences.

Since its debut, the show has had its fair share of headline moments, but none of them hit quite like the Taylor Swift controversy in Season 1. Taking a trip down memory lane, and for those unaware, the American singer-songwriter called out the show and Netflix for making a “deeply sexist” joke about her.

Years later, fans now feel the entire situation was blown out of proportion by the singer and her fans and are siding with Ginny & Georgia, especially Antonia Gentry, who was the most affected.

Ginny & Georgia Snubs Steven Spielberg Right Back by Hyping the Least Challenging Daniel Radcliffe Film
Image
Steven Spielberg infamously turned down the opportunity to direct Daniel Radcliffe’s Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, a film he thought to be too artistically uninteresting and financially safe- in other words, not challenging. The 2000s dismissal from one of the most commercially viable film franchises raised eyebrows back then- and still invites debate even today. But now, Ginny & Georgia, Netflix’s hit teen comedy-drama, appears to have a sly rebuttal of its own.

The series repeatedly references the Harry Potter films, particularly through Austin, who is obsessed with the fantasy franchise. Ironically, Ginny & Georgia chooses to embrace the very thing Spielberg considered “unchallenging”, intertwining it with character arcs with care- and a wink.

Steven Spielberg said no to Hogwarts

In the late 1990s, Steven Spielberg was part of active discussions about who would direct the very first Harry Potter film. However, he decided to walk away from the offer,...

Ginny & Georgia’s One Line Did Irreparable Damage to Vanessa Hudgens’ 1978 Remake Unlike Rotten Tomatoes
Image
In an industry that’s quick to brand remakes of old classics as cheap copies, Vanessa Hudgens’ Grease Live! stood as a worthy exception. However, one line from Ginny & Georgia instantly dissed the remake, casting a long shadow over the television special.

The Netflix dramedy won fans globally for being a righteous mix of drama, comedy, and emotions. A big part of what fans love so much about the show is its sharp and witty mother-daughter dynamic. Their banter is a hallmark in the series. In one such bantz-filled scene, Georgia, played by Brianne Howey, was seen taking a sharp dig at Hudgens’ Grease Live!; with just the one scene, the show did irreparable damage to an otherwise critically acclaimed portrayal.

Ginny & Georgia’s bite-sized burn undermined Vanessa Hudgens’ performance in the 2016 remake

Grease Live! was a major win. Despite the pressures of being the remake of a cult-classic musical/comedy,...

Image
The third season of Ginny & Georgia has begun streaming on Netflix and with it audiences get to enjoy Georgia's (Brianne Howey) trial for the murder of Tom Fuller (Vincent Legault). Of course, this means that the world of every member of the Miller family has been turned upside down. Georgia's troubles have seen the viewership numbers for the show surge incredibly. For context, Ginny & Georgia Season 3 earned 17.6 million viewers during its first four days on the streamer. So will Austin and Ginny (Antonia Gentry) suffer any consequences for their actions?

Ginny & Georgia has already been renewed for a fourth season and the question is what comes next for the characters on the show. Ginny & Georgia creator Sarah Lampert...

Ginny & Georgia Season 4 Gets A Major Filming Update From Star
Image
Brianne Howey, who plays titular character Georgia in the hit Netflix dramedy Ginny & Georgia, has shared a promising update for season 4. Ginny & Georgia season 3 provided another 10-episode season full of drama and emotion. Ginny & Georgia season 3 ended on another bombshell cliffhanger, but thankfully, viewers won't have to wait for news of another season.

Ginny & Georgia received a dual-season renewal in 2023, and the writers' room for season 4 started work on the upcoming installment earlier this year. During a recent interview with Collider's Ladies Night, Howey revealed that production on the next season is expected to begin later this year. Image
Sara Waisglass’ Maxine Baker Deserves Better In Ginny & Georgia – Here’s Why! (Photo Credit – Netflix)

Spoiler Alert: This article may contain major spoilers from Ginny & Georgia season 3.

Ginny & Georgia recently premiered its third season on Netflix. The series is led by Antonia Gentry and Brianne Howey. The storyline revolves around the mother-daughter duo and all that happens around them. Season 3 begins right from where season 2 left off, with Georgia being arrested for the alleged murder of Tom. This season focuses on her murder trial and how she, her kids, her husband, and others deal with it.

The show is getting a lot of applause and appreciation for discussing mental health issues while dealing with other characters’ problems. However, there was one character that I felt didn’t get justice and was treated quite brutally in season 3. That was Maxine Baker, the twin of Marcus (Felix Mallard), played by Sara Waisglass,...

Image
Warning: The following article contains Spoilers for Ginny & Georgia season 3Ginny & Georgia creator Sarah Lampert and showrunner Sarah Glinski share a compelling reason why Joe and Georgia could end up together. The Netflix drama series centers on teenager Ginny Miller and her mother, Georgia, and explores their personal lives and relationships. When Ginny & Georgia season 3 premiered, Georgia and Paul Randolph were married. However, as that romance waned, Georgia and Joe (Raymond Ablack) grew closer and eventually slept together.

Image
After over two years of waiting, Netflix brought viewers back to Wellsbury, Massachusetts, this week with Season 3 of the hit mother-daughter dramedy Ginny & Georgia. The much-anticipated return finally explores the aftermath of Georgia's arrest at her wedding for the murder of Cynthia's husband, Tom, as she and her family navigate the potentially life-changing trial and the public ridicule the crime brings. Although viewers are still recovering from the twists and turns, including another shocking finale, progress is moving along swiftly for Season 4, and series star Brianne Howey has a big update for when cameras will be rolling again.

‘Ginny & Georgia’ Season 3 Sets Highest Record ‘Never Have I Ever’ Couldn’t Reach in 4 Long Seasons
Image
Netflix has delivered some of the most popular teen drama series in recent memory. Never Have I Ever and Ginny & Georgia are also a part of the elite Netflix roster. While both shows cater to the same young adult audience, their journeys have been quite different. Never Have I Ever was often praised for its coming-of-age charm and cultural representation.

Ginny & Georgia, on the other hand, drew criticism early on for trying to do too much, often juggling crime, trauma, romance, and teen angst all at once. In a surprising twist, Ginny & Georgia has officially entered record-breaking territory for Netflix teen dramas, delivering a peak episode that fans and IMDb voters alike can’t stop talking about.

Ginny & Georgia takes a massive leap in Season 3

While it’s not uncommon for shows to get better with time, Ginny & Georgia has made a particularly massive leap in terms of audience reception.

Image
Note: This story contains spoilers from “Ginny & Georgia” Season 3, Episode 10.

As “Ginny & Georgia” Season 3 put Antonia Gentry’s Ginny through the ringer with her Georgia (Brianne Howey) sits on trial for murder, Sara Waisglass’ Maxine wants nothing more than to be there for Ginny, but finds that her advances aren’t well-received, to say the least.

While Maxine and Ginny make up one half of friend group M.A.N.G., which also includes Abby (Katie Douglas), who goes through her own coming out journey in Season 3, and Norah (Chelsea Clark), who struggles with shifting alliances in the wake of the murder trial, Maxine finds herself on the outside looking in as Ginny, Abby and Norah bond as a trio.

What To Expect From Ginny & Georgia Season 4 After Season 3 Cliffhanger?(Photo Credit –Netflix)

Georgia Miller is possibly pregnant and didn’t need to say a word. The final moments of Ginny & Georgia season 3 drop that twist with a carton of milk and zero dialogue. It’s bold. It’s messy. And it’s been in the works for years. After walking free from Tom’s murder trial, Georgia’s life isn’t slowing down; it’s about to get even more chaotic. Let’s unpack what that means and what’s next.

Season 3 Finale Twist: Georgia’s Pregnancy Was Always Part Of The Plan

Ginny & Georgia Season 3 ends on a major cliffhanger with Ginny noticing Georgia drinking milk straight out of a carton and asking, “Mom, didn’t you say you drink milk when you’re pregnant?” The milk-chugging scene was not random. It’s been locked in since day one.

Ginny and Georgia Explains Why Paul Leaves Georgia In Season 3
Image
Ginny and Georgia Season 3 explained why Paul Randolph (Scott Porter) left his wife, Georgia Miller (Brianne Howey), amid his house arrest and ongoing trial. The new season of Netflix's much-anticipated drama series explored the ramifications of Georgia's arrest for the murder of Tom Fuller (Vincent Legault). The arrest was significant because it happened during Georgia and Paul's dream wedding.

Among Georgia's lovers in the series, Paul is the most stable and understanding of her situation. He is also the current mayor of Wellsbury, Massachusetts. Although Zion (Georgia's first love and Ginny's biological father) briefly threatened their future together, Georgia eventually chose Paul as her husband.

‘Ginny & Georgia’: Antonia Gentry and Felix Mallard Unpack the ‘Huge Wedge’ Between Ginny and Marcus by Season 3’s End
Image
Note: This story contains spoilers from “Ginny & Georgia” Season 3, Episode 10.

Despite Antonia Gentry’s Ginny and Felix Mallard’s Marcus breaking up at the end of “Ginny & Georgia” Season 2, their flame continues in Season 3. But what Mallard calls a “massive wedge” stands in between the teens by the end of the season.

While Ginny confides in Marcus about her mother’s murder trial and her abortion, Season 3 sees Marcus hiding a drinking problem that raises eyebrows from both his sister, Maxine (Sara Waisglass), as well as Georgia (Brianne Howey) when she spots a dozen empty bottles in his art studio and causes him to “burn bridges” all season, according to Mallard.

“He’s turning to a coping mechanism that I think initially helps him and gives him better confidence, and allows him to show up and be the person that he wants to be,” Mallard told TheWrap. “As...

“She’s an Entirely New Person”: ‘Ginny & Georgia’s Brianne Howey Dubs Season 3 Georgia’s Breakdown Season [Exclusive]
Image
Editor's Note: This article contains spoilers for Ginny & Georgia Season 3.

One thing that's remained true throughout Ginny & Georgia so far is that, despite her flaws, Georgia loves her children more than anything. The series has focused on her desperate attempts to give Ginny and Austin a fresh start in Wellsbury, where they could, ideally, live a normal life together. Alas, her relationships and past continue to haunt the family, with Season 2 taking a particularly devastating turn in its finale when she's arrested for the murder of Cynthia's husband, Tom. Her eccentric, free-spirited nature has never made life the easiest for her children, but series star Brianne Howey notes that she did take a small step forward in how she acts for their sake in Season 3.

During the latest episode of Collider Ladies Night with Perri Nemiroff, Howey dug deep on all the juicy details of the recently-released season,...

If Ginny and Georgia Season 4 Plot Includes Naming a Child Wellsbury, We’re Officially Done

Spoiler Alert !!!Spoilers ahead for Ginny and Georgia season 3!

Ginny and Georgia recently returned with its third season, which received mixed reactions from audiences. The season saw Georgia trying to save her marriage with Paul, but ended with a major reveal that has raised the stakes for a potential fourth season.

The season 3 finale dropped the bombshell reveal of Georgia’s pregnancy in its final moments. As a result, another member could soon join the titular family and continue the absurd tradition Georgia has used to name her children. Here is why Ginny and Georgia season 4 could introduce a child named Wellsbury, which could be the last straw for us.

Ginny & Georgia Season 3 Costume Interview
Image
In Ginny & GeorgiaSeason 3, the only thing our so-called Mayoress Murderess is guilty of serving is a look.

Well, that’s at least according to the legions of in-world TikTokers following along with Georgia’s (Brianne Howey) murder trial throughout the season.

They’re not far off: showing up to court in fierce, fashion-forward ensembles is all part of her courtroom strategy. It is Georgia, after all — a person who leaves no stone unturned when it comes to how she’s perceived.

“As we know, Georgia loves wearing masks. She loves playing the part,” Howey tells Tudum from the Toronto set of the series, speaking on the final day of filming the trial scenes. “The clothes are telling their own story, which has been really fun.”

Creator Sarah Lampert and showrunner Sarah Glinski took inspiration from a few key figures for Georgia’s showstopping (and intentionally distracting) numbers: Paige DeSorbo...

Why ‘Ginny & Georgia’ Season 3 Pushed Its Main Characters to Their Breaking Point
Image
[This story contains Major spoilers from Ginny & Georgia season three.]

Sarah Lampert, the creator of Netflix’s hit series Ginny & Georgia, knew going into season three that she wanted to bring her main characters to their breaking point so they could rebuild their relationships.

While it’s always been “the two of us against the world” for Ginny (Antonia Gentry) and Georgia (Brianne Howey), this latest installment puts that to the test. In season three, Georgia is on house arrest during her trial for murdering Cynthia’s (Sabrina Grdevich) husband, Tom. However, when her actions start to tear down everyone around her, including her children, Ginny and Austin (Diesel La Torraca), Georgia has to look inward for once.

“Entering season three at the top of the season, we chatted with [psychologist] Dr. Taji again and we were like, ‘If we were going to bring them to a more healed relationship, what would have to happen?...

‘Ginny & Georgia’ Stars Brianne Howey and Antonia Gentry Unpack Season 3 Finale Twist: ‘They Fully Turn Into Each Other’
Image
Note: This story contains spoilers from “Ginny & Georgia” Season 3, Episode 10.

While it’s usually Brianne Howey’s Georgia who has a master plan in “Ginny & Georgia,” all hope seems to be lost for the heroine as she sits on trial for a murder she did commit — that is until her daughter, Ginny (Antonia Gentry), swoops in with a plan to save her.

When Austin (Diesel La Torraca) takes the stand at Georgia’s murder trial in Episode 10, he says under oath that he saw his father (Gil) kill Tom Fuller, shocking everyone in the courthouse — including Georgia — while Ginny looks on with a subtle smile. It’s revealed that Ginny was the one who came up with the plan for Austin to frame Gil, killing two birds with one stone as they send an abuser to prison while keeping their mom free.

‘Ginny & Georgia’ Star Scott Porter Talks Mayor Paul Randolph’s “Reckoning” In Season 3
Image
Spoiler Alert: This post spoils the entirety of Ginny & Georgia Season 3.

Scott Porter’s character, Mayor Paul Randolph, has quite the arc in Ginny & Georgia Season 3, where viewers see him getting caught up in the cyclone that is Georgia Miller’s (Brianne Howey) murder trial.

A small taste of what he was in for occurred at the end of Season 2 when Georgia finally came clean to him about a select range of topics from her dark and sometimes questionable past — including her family trauma, her abusive ex Gil and more. But still, she did not share all of it with him.

“I’ve been saying this word again and again for Season 3, and the word is reckoning, and it is for all of our characters. People have chosen to ignore things that maybe they should have addressed, and a lot of our characters have chosen to act without thinking,...

Ginny and Georgia Reveals Who Abby Ends Up With In Season 3
Image
Ginny and Georgia Season 3's penultimate episode finally revealed who Abby ended up with (and it's not who you think). While Netflix's family drama series continues the story of Georgia (Brianne Howey) and Virginia Miller (Antonia Gentry) as they deal with the consequences of Georgia's arrest and a brief stint in jail, the new season also juggles several storylines with the other characters, such as Abby Littman (Katie Douglas).

Abby is a member of Ginny's best friend group, Mang, in Wellsbury High alongside Norah Cohen (Chelsea Clark) and Maxine Baker (Sara Waisglass). Although she started as a bully to Ginny, the pair eventually patched things up and became closer in Season 3.

Most of Abby's journey in the new season centers on her sexuality and the drama surrounding her casual relationship with Matthew Press (Damian Romeo).

‘Ginny & Georgia’ Creator and Showrunner Break Down Season 3 Twists and Turns, Tease Season 4 Fallout
Image
Note: This story contains spoilers from “Ginny & Georgia” Season 3, Episode 10.

In “Ginny & Georgia” Season 3, Brianne Howey’s Georgia Miller is put on trial — but not just in the court of law. “She’s also on trial with her friends and family,” showrunner Sarah Glinski told TheWrap. “Everyone’s judging her and figuring out if they want to continue being part of their lives.”

That includes her daughter, Ginny (Antonia Gentry), who is taken from Georgia in the midst of her murder trial to live with her father, Zion (Nathan Mitchell), while Austin (Diesel La Torraca) is sent to live with his father, Gil (Aaron Ashmore), whose pattern of abuse raises eyebrows. Though Ginny and Georgia’s separation forces the mother-daughter duo to confront some difficult issues on their own, series creator Sarah Lampert noted the shift could ultimately help them achieve a healthier relationship.

Ginny & Georgia Go Above and Beyond To Address One Major Issue in the Show: “We take a lot of care…”
Image
Ginny & Georgia isn’t just about wild secrets, small-town drama, or coming-of-age chaos, it’s also low-key one of the few shows that actually takes mental health seriously. While many series throw around anxiety and depression like trendy buzzwords, G&G dives deep, especially through Ginny’s struggles. And they don’t just show it, they explore it with empathy, therapy scenes, inner dialogue, and the kind of emotional depth that doesn’t feel forced.

The creators clearly made sure they weren’t brushing over something real. In a sea of surface-level storytelling, this is one teen drama that does the homework.

Ginny & Georgia doesn’t just serve teen angst and murder with a side of sass. It digs deep, especially in Season 2, where the spotlight’s on mental health.
