Doug Layne Anderson was born in Westbrook, Connecticut but was raised
in South Florida. Doug first started writing and recording original
music at the age of 12. Soon after, he began to film and score his own
homemade films.
By 15, Doug had formed "The Ready or Nots" and alternative, punk-rock band with his brother and a friend. Though it was never officially released, their 2006 album I "Used To Be A Superhero..." was completed. After the group disbanded, Doug continued to write and record as a solo artist.
In 2007, Doug joined with three graduates of the New World School of the Arts in Miami, Florida. The four artists formed Pocket Full of All Stars, a film production company.
Pocket Full of All Stars has completed two feature films, multiple short films, and the two web series: "Dead Man" and "A.B.B.E." Your Ticket Out, a film that competed in the 48 Hour Film Project, was awarded Best Writing and Best Acting.
Today, Pocket Full of All Stars continues to write and produce original content.
