Grigorij Richters was born in Hamburg, Germany. He had an early interest in film and theatre. He became a professional child model at the age of 2 and did his last professional job at age 14. He appeared in 200+ Magazines, TV ads and fashion catalogues. At the age of six he bought his first 2nd hand video camera and took up acting and piano classes. By the age of 12, he had already finished over 15 short films and wrote his first feature film script. At the age of 13 he directed his first TV commercial with a budget of 50,000 Euros. At age 15 he had a chance to direct legendary German actor Mario Adorf (Tin drum) in his 40 minute long short film Dean's Life. The script was co-written by him and Georg Ludy. He worked with the producers of Hostage (Bruce Willis), Sony and the script inspired such films as Click (Adam Sandler) and the recent George Clooney & John Malkovich Nespresso commercial.

He is about to finish his first feature film (as director), 51 Degrees. Over the years he has developed a certain guerilla style, showing up on location at 4am, without a permit and filming what he needs to and then drive off, he's done it at the fountain in front of Buckingham Palace (he made the actor jump in the fountain, his character was drunk), on King's Reach (abandoned 120m high building on Stamford Street, when he almost got arrested by Anti-Terrorist Police), on Marylebone High Street using 'crashed cars' in the middle of the street.

In 2011, at the age of 24, he directed a scene at Piccadilly Circus, London with over 1500 Extras which is the largest film shoot at Piccadilly Circus to date. He did have a permission for 50 Extras.
