The Acclaimed Courtroom K-Drama That Should Be On Your Netflix Watchlist
Image
One of the things that South Korean television, or K-dramas, does so well is blend humor and soap operatic emotion, all linked by memorable characters and a heartfelt earnestness. These storytelling sensibilities have helped K-dramas become popular with international audiences, with Netflix boasting a growing library of Korean shows. One show that any established K-drama fan or those curious about Korean television should check out is "Extraordinary Attorney Woo." After premiering in 2022, the series remains a worldwide streaming favorite on Netflix, perfect for a binge or an enjoyable rewatch.

"Extraordinary Attorney Woo" centers on protagonist Woo Young-woo (Park Eun-bin), a rookie lawyer with autism hired by a law firm in Seoul. Woo's savant-level knowledge of the law and her photographic memory leads to her superior performance in the courtroom, overcoming ridicule and underestimation over her condition. As Young-woo's career progresses, she attracts the ire and attempted sabotage by her colleague...

All of Us Are Dead season 2 gets positive update, reigniting fan hype
Image
Plenty of Netflix shows are currently in the pipeline for new seasons, but there’s one in particular that fans have been especially anxious to hear more about. It's not just any Netflix series, either. It's pretty popular among horror lovers and zombie fans alike, and they've been waiting very patiently for any sign of life. I'm sure you know by now what show I'm talking about, and yes, it's All of Us Are Dead. Where is the second season, Netflix?

Adapted from the Naver webtoon of the same name by Joo Dong-geun, the zombie series pulled audiences in with its intense action,...

Netflix Action Epic Uprising Gets Promising Reviews From Critics
Image
Netflix is on something of an action movie hot streak right now thanks to the likes of Rebel Ridge, Hit Man, The Shadow Strays, and more. To the delight of action fans everywhere, the trend continues with the brutal and bloody martial arts epic, Uprising. The historical war movie is now available to stream on the platform, and reactions from both critics and audiences have started to emerge.

Kate Snchez of But Why Tho? A Geek Community heaps praise on Uprising for standing out for all the right reasons.

The choice of culture, history, and sins in one persons life and personal connections makes Uprising (2024) more than just another movie in the robust sageuk genre. It stands out for all the right reasons.

All Of Us Are Dead Season 2 Taking This Long To Happen Strangely Makes This Main Characters Story More Exciting
Image
Cheong-sans potential role in All of Us Are Dead season 2 might benefit from how long is taking for the Netflix K-drama to return. All of Us Are Dead season 2 was announced in 2022 but has yet to be given a release date. It was recently reported that the second season wont start filming until 2025, meaning that almost four years or more might have passed by the time the zombie K-drama returns. Although this is disappointing in many ways, it could make Cheong-sans story better.

All of Us Are Dead made some big changes to the source material, from the title of the series to what happens to Nam-ra at the end. The biggest of them, however, is continuing the story past the destruction of the school. All of Us Are Dead season 2 will not have the webtoon to follow, which makes it difficult to predict when and how Cheong-san returns assuming that he does.

2 Of Netflixs Biggest K-Dramas Of All Time Are Back, So Where Is All Of Us Are Dead?
Image
Sweet Home and Squid Game have returned or are about to, but All Of Us Are Dead 2 hasn't been released yet. Fans have been eagerly waiting for season 2 of All Of Us Are Dead for over two years now. All Of Us Are Dead may only return in early 2025, following the trend set by Sweet Home and Squid Game.

Sweet Home and Squid Game, two of Netflixs flagship original K-dramas, have returned or are about to, raising the question of what is happening with All of Us Are Dead. Netflixs history with original K-dramas begins in 2019 with the release of Love Alarm, a romantic comedy starring Song Kang. Love Alarm would be the first of many of original Korean series produced by Netflix in collaboration with local studios, a strategy that was proved successful a year later with the premiere of Sweet Home. The monster K-drama was the first Korean...

I Liked Sweet Home, But Im Still Waiting For Netflixs Best Horror K-Drama To Return
Image
All of Us Are Dead season 1 was as good as Sweet Home, making the wait for season 2 exciting. All of Us Are Dead must avoid Sweet Home's mistakes to surpass expectations for season 2. Similar to Sweet Home, All of Us Are Dead may deliver season 2 and beyond after a three-year wait.

Sweet Home ended on a high note, but Im still waiting for my favorite Netflix horror K-drama to return. The list of K-dramas available on Netflix continues to grow, with old and new titles being added to the platform every month. Sweet Home, which starred Song Kang as Cha Hyun-su, was one of Netflixs flagship Korean series for years and concluded in July 2024 after three seasons. Despite my disappointment with season 2, I liked Sweet Home season 3s ending and where the show left things off.

Netflixs original K-dramas tend to have significant budgets, which is why they often...

The Perfect Sweet Home K-Drama Replacement Is Streaming On Netflix (& Season 2 Is On Its Way)
Image
Warning: This article includes Spoilers for Sweet Home season 3.

All of Us Are Dead is a perfect replacement for Sweet Home. Both shows share similarities like being based on webtoons and featuring groups of young characters surviving an apocalypse. All of Us Are Dead has a larger main cast and a more grounded approach to zombies, and it will continue past its source material like Sweet Home.

Sweet Home is over, but the perfect replacement for the monster K-drama starring Song Kang is already streaming on Netflix with a second season on its way. Following a divisive second chapter, Sweet Home season 3s ending was a satisfying conclusion for the series. Cha Hyun-su, Lee Eun-hyeok, and Lee Eun-yu had a somewhat happy ending after Nam Sang-wok was defeated and neohumans started to learn how to have feelings again. Sweet Home may have had highs and lows, but its impact and compelling characters cannot be ignored.

I Hope All Of Us Are Dead Season 2 Doesnt Make The Same Mistake That Almost Ruined Sweet Home
Image
All of Us Are Dead season 2 shouldn't focus on new characters like Sweet Home's season 2. Similar to Sweet Home, All of Us Are Dead faces challenges reimagining original content for season 2 after covering most of its source material in season 1. All of Us Are Dead season 2 may have a time skip, which Sweet Home season 2 also used.

All of Us Are Dead season 2 has to be careful not to make the same mistake that almost ruined Sweet Home. Two of Netflixs most popular Korean shows, both Sweet Home and All of Us Are Dead were renewed for new seasons shortly after they debuted on the platform. Sweet Home season 3 premiers in 2024, only a few months after the second season, whereas All of Us Are Dead season 2s release date remains to be announced. As a fan of both shows, its difficult not to compare these two major web series.

Why Im Worried About All Of Us Are Dead Season 2s Story After A Perfect First Season

(Characters: Despite changes from the webtoon, All of Us Are Dead season 2 has the potential to be great with new storylines and characters.

All of Us Are Dead season 1 was perfect and did not necessarily need a continuation, which is why Im cautiously excited about the upcoming season 2. The first season of All of Us Are Dead was a hit for Netflix, quickly prompting a second season renewal. 8 Harsh Realities Of Rewatching All Of Us Are Dead Ahead Of Season 2
Image
All of Us Are Dead's love triangle did not work. Lee Byeong-chan's character was the real monster in season 1. Season 2 of All of Us Are Dead has no release date yet, which can be frustrating considering how good season 1 was.

More than two years after All of Us Are Dead premiered on Netflix, rewatching the show ahead of season 2 reveals some harsh truths about the hit zombie K-drama. One of the best Netflix original K-dramas, All of Us Are Dead was based on the webtoon Now In Our School. Set in the fictional city of Hyosan, the series follows a group of students as they try to survive the zombie apocalypse that had just started in their school. 8 Most Important All Of Us Are Dead Scenes Ahead Of Season 2

Dr. Lee Byeong-chan creates the Jonas Virus, leading to the zombie apocalypse in Hyosan. Hambies are introduced as a unique type of zombie in All of Us Are Dead, retaining consciousness but craving brains. The military bombards Hyosan to contain the virus, with the remaining characters currently living in the quarantine zone.

More than two years after the release of All of Us Are Dead season 1, some scenes have become even more important in hindsight ahead of the upcoming season 2. All of Us Are Dead season 2s release date hasnt been announced yet, but the zombie K-drama was renewed for a second season shortly after the premiere of the first one. The 8 Most Exciting Things About All Of Us Are Dead Season 2

All Of Us Are Dead Season 2 is expected to have an original story, going beyond the webtoon source material. New characters will likely be introduced in season 2 to replace those lost in the first season. The focus in season 2 may shift to the hambies who are trying to survive in what was left of Hyosan.

Despite the lack of updates on All of Us Are Dead season 2, there are plenty of reasons to be excited for the second season of the Netflix zombie K-drama. One of Netflixs most popular Korean dramas, All of Us Are Dead premiered in January 2022 and became a global hit. Not much has been revealed about season 2, not even the release date, yet the end of season 1 offered enough clues to predict where All of Us Are Dead is heading next.

7 All Of Us Are Dead Characters We Will Miss The Most In Season 2

Warning: This article contains mentions of suicide.

Cheong-san's death was a major loss in All of Us Are Dead, impacting the series' future. Lee Byeong-chan should have lived longer to see more of what his virus caused. So-ju's emotional quest to save his daughter was a poignant storyline with a bittersweet ending.

All of Us Are Dead lived up to its name and killed a lot of important characters, many of whom will be missed in the upcoming season 2. When All of Us Are Dead season 2 will premiere remains to be seen, but the series is expected to tell an original story now that it has already adapted all of its source material. As a result, it can be difficult to predict what will happen next in the Netflix K-drama. Its safe to say, though, that All of Us Are Dead 2 will be very different from the first season.

All Of Us Are Dead Season 2’s Teased New Characters Mean Nam-ra Will Be Even More Important Now
Image
Nam-ra's role will be crucial in All of Us Are Dead season 2 due to her hambie status. Hambies will have an important impact in the upcoming season based on how season 1 ended. All of Us Are Dead season 1's finale made one important change to Nam-ra's ending from the webtoon.

All of Us Are Dead season 1’s finale teased the arrival of new characters that will make Nam-ra even more important in season 2. Netflix’s hit K-drama followed four main characters, one of whom died at the end of season 1. On-jo, Su-hyeok, and Nam-ra were the ones left, but Nam-ra never made it to the quarantine zone alongside her group. Instead, she preferred to part ways with the group after almost hurting her friends due to her zombie transformation.

The 2022 zombie series introduced the concept of hambies, or halfbies, who somehow manage to win over the Jonas virus and do not turn into monsters completely.

All Of Us Are Dead’s Finale Means A Fan-Favorite Couple Will Be Together Again In Season 2

Nam-ra can now control her powers, allowing her to reconnect with Su-hyeok. Su-hyeok and Nam-ra's relationship was doomed due to her powers but now has a chance for a happy ending. Even still, challenges await Nam-ra and Su-hyeok in season 2, and they may not get together just yet.

All of Us Are Dead season 1’s finale means that a fan-favorite couple can get back together in season 2. The best K-dramas of all time, regardless of their genre, usually include at least one compelling romantic couple. Even though All of Us Are Dead is in the horror genre, the Netflix K-drama featured two major romantic storylines and even teased a love triangle that fortunately did not last very long. All Of Us Are Dead Season 2’s Perfect Villain Is A Forgotten Season 1 Character

All Of Us Are Dead Season 2’s Perfect Story Would Make It A Very Different Show

All Of Us Are Dead Season 2 Needs To Answer 1 Massive Question About Season 1’s Finale

All of Us Are Dead Season 2 needs to show what happened to the students' parents. Two of the most tragic deaths on the show were that of On-jo's father and Cheong-san's mother. By showing more of the characters' personal lives, perhaps even with flashbacks, All of Us Are Dead can raise the stakes.

8 Things All Of Us Are Dead Season 2 Must Include After Years Of Waiting

All of Us Are Dead (2022)
‘All of Us Are Dead’ Renewed for Season 2 at Netflix
All of Us Are Dead (2022)
The dead are rising once again. “All of Us Are Dead,” the popular Korean zombie series, has been renewed for Season 2 at Netflix.

The zombie horror series is one of the streamer’s top ten non-English-language shows of all time and its second most successful Korean-produced show, after last year’s “Squid Game.”

The news was announced as part of Netflix’s Geeked Week.
