      She and her husband, Russian musician, singer, and composer Igor Nikolaev, have one daughter, Veronika, who was born on October 8, 2015, in Jurmala, Latvia, the famous seaside resort town on the southern shore of the Gulf of Riga. Yuliya and Igor had gone there on vacation when Yuliya was in her 7th month. They had originally planned on returning to Moscow in time for the birth, but, while still in Jurmala, Yuliya went into labor suddenly and unexpectedly, and she was forced to give birth to Veronika at a local clinic.
