A few months ago, one of the topics discussed on an episode of Corpse Club – Horrigins was that there were a lot of amazing short films out there, but it can be hard for fans to keep up with all of the content that gets released over time. The Horror Short Film You Haven’t Seen (But Should)
Evan Cooper is poised to become a household name in the horror film genre with his upcoming project The Will O Wisp which will star This Is Us‘ Chrissy Metz. A writer and director from Canada, Cooper has been making quite a splash on the indie circuit with the award-winning short The Armoire, a noteworthy horror film about a fledgling actress alone in a new town with a very haunted piece of furniture. 'This Is Us' Star Chrissy Metz Joins Horror Movie 'The Will O Wisp' (Exclusive)

This Is Us star Chrissy Metz is ready to embrace her darker side.

Metz is attached to star in the horror film The Will O Wisp from up-and-coming Canadian writer/director Evan Cooper. The psychological thriller centers on a recently divorced Montana man and his dog, who are beckoned into the woods on their property after seeing strange lights.

The indie project is described as Signs meets Misery. Metz will play a nurse with a checkered past who works at the local assisted living center. 

Metz came to prominence with a recurring role on American Horror Story: Freakshow from 2014-15, and her profile skyrocketed with This Is Us....
