A lifelong artist; John Backstrom re-discovered his passion for acting after several years working behind the camera as a 1st AD and producer. He has trained at HB Studio, The PIT, and graduated from the Meisner Conservatory at Terry Knickerbocker Studio in 2022. Since then Backstrom has booked over a dozen lead or supporting roles in indie film and performed Off-Off-Broadway in New York City.
