Zoe Anastassiou

Zoe Anastassiou is a Greek Australian British theatre/TV/film/voiceover actress living in NYC. She has had a distinguished career on both the stage and on screen.

Zoe just recently received the Creative Community Award along with her fellow Nationals Inaugural Alumni Class at The 24 Hour Plays on Broadway, 2024. She also just completed filming as M in a short Bond parody with Free The People, that went viral!

Zoe spent the 2022-2023 theatrical season touring the USA as part of The Acting Company's renowned National Tour in celebration of their 50th Anniversary. The Acting Company has launched the careers of some 400 actors, including Kevin Kline, Patti LuPone, and Rainn Wilson, to name a few, while bringing sophisticated theater to hundreds of small towns and major cities alike. This past season The Acting Company toured with two shows in rep with Zoe playing the notable role of the Nurse in "Romeo and Juliet" and as Lady Lannoy as well as 7 other characters in "The Three Musketeers". Both shows began on the East Coast, with a full run at The New Victory Theater on 42nd Street in NYC and ended in Washington State on the West Coast.

Zoe can be seen in the play adaptation of Emily Bohannon's "Virtue" featuring Margaret Colin and Joshua Henry with Cowboy Bear Ninja productions streaming on Broadway on Demand, and on Amazon Prime's second season of "Jack Ryan." She is also the voice for a new Ivatherm dermocosmetic product commercial series.

Zoe won the Eva Gore-Booth Award for Best Female Performance for her role as Del in Carolyn Gage's new play "Easter Sunday" at The International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival; She has been directed in "Three Sisters" and "As You Like It" by Eve Best; She performed the role of Hermia in "Midsummer Nights Dream" at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London; She has performed in London's Old Vic Theatre on a T. S. Eliot exchange; She is also a member of the Old Vic New Voices Program.

Zoe is a founding member of At Play Productions that presented the annual Off-Broadway Celebrity 24 Hour Plays in which she also performed; She also co-founded Helluva Theatre Company and performed as Barbara in their inaugural production of "Major Barbara"; She performed in the film "Festival of Lights" that starred Aidan Quinn & Jimi Mistry; She performed in the short film "The Betrothed" starring Gale Howard; She was the voice for DulcoFibre commercials in Australia.

Zoe has a double B.A. in Theatre and Psychology from Middlebury College and an MFA in Acting from the original Actors Studio Drama School/The New School for Drama.
