Biography

Albert Gayo is a Scriptwriter, Director, and Producer. During a career in filmmaking of more than 30 years, Albert wrote, produced, 15 short films and documentaries and Directed several others including hundred of TV commercials in the Middle East and Asia. His films have participated and have been nominated for awards at various leading film festivals including New York Audience Now Filmfest, Bangladesh Filmfest, Chicago Film festival, Emirates Filmfest, and Indiewise Miami Filmfest among others. His journey took him in a partnership with AIM Global around the world. He is also a member of Speakers Bureau and Toastmasters International where he won a few awards for his speaking skills, presently he is mentoring a few students on public speaking, acting, and continues his journey in filmmaking, he is now shooting his feature film "Year After" among others.

Albert Santos Gayo is a filmmaker based in Dubai, UAE and Middle East, he has written, produced, and directed over 20 short films to date and three of his short films are shown and received good reviews from different film festival worldwide particularly "Cities With A Heart" 2014 that was accepted and shown at New York Audience Filmfest, Big Chicago Filmfest, Miami Indiewise Filmfest, Wiper Seattle Filmfest, Egyptian Filmfest, selected as semi-finalist for Bangladesh Filmfest, his other film "Crystal Wish" 2016 won Best Actress for Emirates Short Filmfest, his music video "I Like the Way" was a finalist for Caribbean Films Festival, "Lamentation" and "OFW" was also a finalist for Indiewise Miami Filmfest 2018, On most of his films, he produced, writes and even act on them. He believes in making films that inspires, puts people in action and sees the beauty of life. Some of his documentary film were also included and selected in some of noted film festival worldwide. Lately his documentary film "Aim Global Obinna Collins Brown" was a semi-finalist for AERN Filmfest held at Chicago, USA, 2019. Documentary "Benjamin Life in Dubai" was also selected for the Lift Off Filmfest, USA in 2020. At present he continues to make films and takes photographs.

Commercially he directs, writes and produced most of Lulu Hypermarket TVC and Ad campaigns, he has also done TVC for HSBC, Toyota, Baskin Robbins , TGIF, Mina Jewelry, Mashreq Banks, and others.
