Tower of God Season 2 Anime Releases New Trailer Featuring Opening Theme by NiziU

The official accounts for the Tower of God anime series today released a new trailer for its upcoming second season featuring the opening theme song "Rise Up" performed by nine-member Japanese girl group NiziU . The group also perform the anime's new ending theme song, "Believe." NiziU made their major debut in December 2020 and previously provided the theme song for the 2023 anime film Doraemon: Nobita's Sky Utopia . "Rise Up" is their first theme song work for a TV anime series. Both "Rise Up " and "Believe" will be included in NiziU's first EP "Rise Up" to release in Japan on July 24, 2024. Ever since its release in 2022, Spy x Family has been a popular anime series adapted from Tatsuya Endo’s action-comedy manga series. The story follows a master spy known by his codename, Twilight, who acts to maintain peace between rival nations whose tensions recall the Cold War. To achieve his latest mission of getting close to a reclusive far-right leader through his sons, Twilight must pose a family man and enrol a child into the same private school known as the Eden Academy.

To accomplish this, Twilight poses as a psychiatrist named Loid Forger and presents the image of a happy family by adopting a young orphan girl named Anya, while also marrying City Hall employee Yor Briar.

Highspeed Étoile has dropped a new promotional video for the upcoming futuristic car-racing anime, which is scheduled to premiere in April 2024.

The promotional video, released via the Highspeed Étoile anime's official website, revealed the 2024 debut date and the project's new cast members. Yukari Tamura voices the interactive artificial intelligence (AI) program Ami, while Tōru Furuya narrates the anime series. Highspeed Étoile also shared a new visual.

Trailer For New Ghost In The Shell Anime Flick, Billed As An “Evolution” Of The Series
Ever since it first appeared on the manga scene back in 1989, Ghost in the Shell has gradually accrued a reputation for being one of the most respected anime series in the business. Heck, the IP is now beginning to makes waves in the west thanks to a live-action adaptation of the post-cyberpunk title, which recently cast Lucy star Scarlett Johnasson in the lead role.

And now, hot on the heels of that announcement, it looks as though Motoko Kusanagi is gearing up for another adventure in the anime scene after the studio revealed an enticing new promo for a brand new series in the GitS lore — one which has been billed as an “evolution” to the story. Thankfully, Animated News Network translated the text within the trailer, which reads as so:

Just three days after actress Scarlett Johansson signed on for the lead in an upcoming live-action adaptation of Ghost in the Shell, a trailer and poster have debuted for an all new anime adaptation from Toho. The movie is expected to debut in Japanese theaters sometime this summer, although it isn't known when it may arrive in the United States. Filmmaker Kazuchika Kise, who directed all four movies in the Ghost in the Shell: Arise series, returns to take the helm for this new adventure, although no story details have been revealed at this time.

A couple of days ago it was officially announced that Scarlett Johansson would take on the lead role in the live-action adaptation of Ghost in the Shell. There were a lot of mixed reactions from fans regarding the casting, but hopefully the movie turns out better than we expect. Luckily for hardcore fans, this isn't the only new Ghost in the Shell film coming. Later this year we will get a new anime movie, and today we bring you the first teaser trailer for it! 

We don't have any story details for you yet, but the film does feature the voice cast from Ghost In The Shell: Arise, which consists of Maaya Sakamoto, Ikkyuu Juku, Kenichirou Matsuda, Tarusuke Shingaki, Shunsuke Sakuya, Takurou Nakakuni, Youji Ueda, Kazuya Nakai, and Miyuki Sawashiro.

Kazuchika Kise (Ghost in the Shell Arise chief director) will serve as chief director at Project I.G., and will also design the characters.
