Has lived in Asia for half of his life, and can speak Korean and Japanese with near-native pronunciation.

Graduated in 1996 from Okemos High School in Okemos, Michigan.

In 2001, Chuck went to the Intercollegiate Taekwondo championships in Hong Kong as a spectator, and was recognized from a Taekwondo textbook he was in.

Founded Quiet Flame Productions as a fight choreography training institution in Tokyo, is the head fight choreography instructor at Seattle's International Stunt School, and has also taught East Asian style fight choreography for the Society of American Fight Directors and the International Order of the Pen and the Sword in Canada.
