The Great British Bake Off comes to an end this week (sob, sniff), and while we love all three of the finalists, there's one who stands out (and who you DS readers have picked as your winner): Nadiya Hussain. Here's why we're hoping she becomes the latest Victoria sponge victor:
1. Her facial expressions
Have we mentioned enough how much we love Nadiya's face? More malleable than dough, she squints and glares and giggles and squirms her way through the show and it's utterly endearing.
2. She's proved something to herself - and the country
"I was a bit nervous that perhaps people would look at me, a Muslim in a headscarf, and wonder if I could bake," Nadiya has said. "I hope that week by week people have realised that I can bake – and just because I'm not a stereotypical British person, it doesn't mean that I am not into bunting,...

We're only three weeks in to The Great British Bake Off, but we're already wondering if we know who one of the finalists is.
And no, it hasn't been leaked - there's nothing here to cause the betting to be suspended again - but we have a sneaking suspicion that Ian Cumming is going to go far after being named Star Baker for two consecutive weeks.
Only two other people have managed this in the show's history - series three's James Morton and series five's Richard Burr - and both of them made the final.
To add to that, they snatched their consecutive Star Baker titles in the two or three weeks leading up to the final when there are fewer bakers to choose from, making Ian's feat even more impressive.
But he probably shouldn't get too cocky just yet - after all, neither James nor Richard actually went on to win their series.

Probably thanks to the called-off England game, many (more)...
