Ileana D. Vasquez

Founder of LolitaMoon Productions, Ileana D.Vasquez is an auto-didactic visionary and Telly and Gold Aurora winning writer, director, and producer. Ileana holds a BFA in Fine Arts from UCLA where she had the opportunity to intern for legendary producer and director, Stanley Kramer and study with world renowned fine artists Paul McCarthy, Lari Pittman, Patty Wickman, George Herms, and Barbara Drucker. Ileana has received guidance and mentoring from the likes of Betty Thomas (whom she shadowed during the filming of Netflix's "Grace and Frankie"), and producing partners Mark Ordesky, the Executive Producer of "Lord of the Rings" and, Jane Fleming, the former President of WIF.

Ileana also studied acting in Paris, France, and experimental/improvisational theater performance and acting in Los Angeles with acclaimed artist Rachel Rosenthal. Ileana won a Telly and Gold Aurora Award for her Women In Film, Los Angeles PSA, "Finding Sahara," and an Accolade Award for the short, "Of Yesterday and Tomorrow." Her work has been distributed by CBS and sponsored by IFP, Paris Film, Christian Dior, and Vanessa Bruno.

She is set to direct her debut feature called 'Perfidious' which she co-wrote and is producing. Ileana recently obtained a Certificate for Directing from the Sundance Institute's Directors Collab.

Before pursuing a Fine Arts degree at UCLA, Ileana pursued medical prep studies. Ileana is also a published poet. In addition to her artistic pursuits, Ileana is a vegetarian, an activist for animal rights, sustainability and the environment. She is also a strong advocate for clean beauty and cruelty free homeopathic/natural medicine.
