Heartland stories brimming with crime and grime have firmly entrenched themselves as reigning narratives, captivating audiences with their raw authenticity and gripping plotlines. Set against the backdrop of small towns and rural landscapes, these tales delve into the complexities of human nature, exploring themes of power, loyalty, and redemption.

In the latest crime drama to capture attention in Gangs of Ghaziabad – that also happens to be the debut web series of Shatrughan Sinha. The series also stars Ashutosh Rana, Pradeep Nagar, Jatin Sarna, Abhimanyu Singh, Mukesh Tiwari, Mahira Sharma, Sunny Leone Durgesh Kumar, Srikant Verma, Muneesh Tanwar, Lokesh Tilakdhari, Rajesh Bhati and Pragati Sharma amongst others. The series recently wrapped its shoot. The story is set in the tumultuous underworld of 90s Western Uttar Pradesh.

Veteran Bollywood superstar Shatrughan Sinha, who was last seen on the big screen in ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se’, is making his webseries debut with ‘Gangs of Ghaziabad’, and he has completed shooting for the same.

The series is set against the backdrop of small towns and rural landscapes and explores themes of power, loyalty, and redemption from the underworld of 1990s Western Uttar Pradesh.

The series also stars Ashutosh Rana, Pradeep Nagar, Jatin Sarna, Abhimanyu Singh, Mukesh Tiwari, Mahira Sharma, Sunny Leone, Durgesh Kumar, Srikant Verma, Muneesh Tanwar, Lokesh Tilakdhari, Rajesh Bhati and Pragati Sharma.

The series is written and directed by Nagender Choudhary, who has previously worked as assistant director on projects like ‘Loc Kargil’ and also co-directed ‘Paltan’.

The makers have also roped in Julius Packiam for background score, who has worked on big hits like ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Tiger 3’.

The trailer for Bharat ends with the line “Desh logon se banta hai, aur logon ke pechan unki pariwar se hoti hai” delivered by Jackie Shroff to his son Bharat in a flashback. This seems to be the key motif to this year’s Eid thriller for the masses, Bharat, starring Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Disha Patani. With this line, all that came in the previous 2:40 of the trailer boils down to 1 man, 1 country but it’s obvious that director Ali Abbas Zafar will be taking audiences on a fast-paced ride filled both with pride and power. Julius Packiam and Vishal-Shekhar come together to deliver an all-round score for this epic story spanning the history of both Bharat the man and Bharat the country based on the South Korean story “Ode to my Father”.

Bharat’s film director, Ali Abbas Zafar, has added another line to his CV that of composer and lyricist. For his new film Bharat, Zafar is making his debut as both with the song, ‘Zinda’, which is also the film’s anthem. Ali has penned and set it to tune with Julius Packiam, who has also worked on the background score of the period-drama.

When Ali was asked about how Salman reacted to this development, Ali laughed and said, “Bhai doesn’t know yet, we don’t share these small details, he knows I keep doing something or the other. But this time I think he will be surprised. Of course, he’ll pull my leg, saying, ‘So now, you’ve starting writing songs too, now you will ask for an extra cheque.’ That’s the kind of bond we share.”

After receiving rave reviews for the trailer and poster launch of ‘Baaghi’, the film’s first track has been released featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Tiger Shroff – the romantic song ‘Sab Tera’. The track presents a double-treat for Shraddha Kapoor fans – first the actress shed her girl-next-door avatar in Baaghi to conduct some high octane action scenes in the film and now the very first song is beautifully sung by her along with Armaan Malik.

The beautiful track has been composed by Amaal Malik, with lyrics provided by Sanjiv Chaturvedi.

The song gives the audience a glimpse of the chemistry between Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor, and sets the tone for this romantic thriller that is sure to be a hit with fans.
