Akira Toriyamas Dragon Ball is full of complicated characters who have experienced rich character development, but few have come as far as Vegeta. Vegeta is a fascinating case study in redemption, and he organically shifts from Gokus greatest enemy into one of the Saiyans closest friends. Its taken Vegeta a long time to reach this point and there are still plenty of moments where the characters true intentions are questioned.

Part of the reason that Vegeta has been able to become such a passionate and beloved hero is because hes no stranger to loss and sacrifice. Vegeta has undergone many hurtful experiences physically, emotionally, and psychologically that have pushed him to look inward and determine who he really is in life. Vegeta remains one of Dragon Balls most fascinating and complex individuals, but the characters pain is a vital ingredient in who hes become.

Ice Scream is a thriller from Italian directors Roberto De Feo and Vito Palumbo. This title is based on a short film, which was completed in 2009. Both films deal with a real life case of bullying put to screen. And now, Ice Scream has a teaser trailer. The reel shows Mickey (Spencer Treat Clark) pursued by local thugs. Mickey is simply trying to buy an ice-cream for his girlfriend, when he accidentally spills his dessert on Brando (Brendan Miller). Brando does not take kindly to Mickey. Soon, Brando and his buddy, Alex (Zach Cumer), are chasing Mickey into the local woods for a round of torture. Ice Scream is currently in post production. The format has always lent itself well to the horror genre in particular, perhaps thanks to its roots in short form radio serials, pulp magazines and comics. For many, the horror anthology trend peaked in the '80s with such classics as Creepshow, Twilight Zone: The Movie, and the Tales from the Crypt TV series, but now a handful of established horror directors have combined their forces to pay tribute to these films (along with the drive-in culture of the '50s, '60s and the '70s) with a new collection called Chillerama.

For those unfamiliar with Hollywood Forever, the cemetery has in recent years become a mecca for cineastes with summer film screenings taking place on its grounds nearly every weekend (films are projected onto the wall of its massive mausoleum). Hundreds gather for these events, and last night was no exception. Food trucks abounded as the vociferous audience - toting blankets and bottles of wine - set up on the lawn in anticipation. A blind man in an 'out of order' public toilet hears a girl being attacked and backs further into the toilet, making a noise. He tells him he's blind and begs for his life. The attacker calls him worthless and won't shoot him. The blind man heads straight for the police and lo and behold said police turns out to be Horatio (David Caruso). Who just happened to be nearby. Horatio runs to find the van taking off with the girl inside. The blind man knew the police were there as he heard the clicks from the sirens. Ben (Jonathan Keltz) describes the scene to Ryan (Jonathan Togo) and Natalia (Eva Larue) both given the dirty jobs of analyzing the toilet. That was left to Walter (Omar Miller) in last season's In Plane Sight episode. This time Ryan has to do it after he blatently refused last time. Ryan whispers...
