The actress will be portraying Gloria Stewart, the wife of actor James Stewart, who will be played by Riverdale alum Kj Apa.

I laughed, I cried, and I was deeply inspired just reading the script that honors his life so well. He lived a truly wonderful life, and I know this film will impact you the way movies should, but so rarely do anymore. Jimmy and Gloria shared one of the most precious relationships of all time.

A celebrity biopic about Jimmy Stewart has found its lead star. While this has been especially true for those in the music industry, celebrity biopics have become increasingly popular in recent years. Last year boasted the Bob Dylan biopic film A Complete Unknown, and this year will have a Bruce Springsteen biopic.

As for Stewart, he was a beloved actor who lived from 1908 to 1997. He is best known for playing George Bailey in It's a Wonderful Life, but also starred in Alfred Hitchcock classics such as Vertigo. He was nominated for several Oscars, eventually winning Best Actor for his role in A Philadelphia Story.

Directed by Aaron Burns, Jimmy will follow Stewart’s early rise in Hollywood, including winning an Academy Award for The Philadelphia Story, before enlisting in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a combat pilot in World War II and then returning home to star in Frank Capra's iconic 1946 film, It’s a Wonderful Life.

General Hospital star Kirsten Storms has admitted she was shocked at hearing her long-running character was set to be recast. Storms has played the character of Maxie Jones on the soap since 2005, but the role is set to be recast on a temporary basis, as Storms encounters scheduling conflicts.

Recasting characters with different actors is one of the most common soap opera tropes, and seeing a different actor play the role of Maxie is not a new thing. There have been a couple of occasions in the past where Storms has had to temporarily vacate the role, adn Maxie has been recast, and the same will be happening again.

Storms admitted that she was "taken aback" when she first discovered she was set to be replaced (viaVariety). The long-running star had to step away from the role she has played since 2005, due to scheduling conflicts, with Nicole Paggi filling in.

Believing Doug’s (Bill Hayes) newly arrived grandson, Doug III (Peyton Meyer), is on the up-and-up, Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) continues to welcome him with open arms. “Tonight, you’re going to be part of this wonderful Horton family tradition,” she happily tells him.

Dool spoilers reveal that it was announced during the “Day of Days” yearly fan event, which took place this past Saturday, November 2, that O’Brien would be returning to the show.

She was introduced onto the stage, donning her Theresa Donovan wig, and she’s also shown as Theresa during the Days’ winter preview video.

O’Brien uploaded a video of her entrance on the Day of Days stage, (with Paul Telfer (Xander Kiriakis) helping brush her hair out after she took the wig off) and added this caption:

Emily O’Brien is heading back to Salem in a few months. She’ll begin appearing as Theresa Donovan in March before returning as Gwen Rizczech in mid-summer. O’Brien originally joined Days as the vindictive Gwen in 2020. In October 2023, she switched gears and began playing Theresa Donovan, a role originally portrayed by Jen Lilley. Theresa was last seen in August when she was sent to Statesville prison.

Madelyn Kientz is back as Sophia Choi. She’ll air on Thursday, November 14 and Friday, November 15, in scenes with Leo Howard’s Tate.
