Marquise Vilsón is a New York born, LA based actor & man of trans experience whose visibility in media spans more than two decades. A staple in Black trans history, Vilsón has been of service in grassroots organizing, HIV education/testing, fashion and now he uses acting as his advocacy medium of choice, bringing his love of community and fearless representation into the world of art. Marquise made his New York stage debut Off-Broadway, cast as Beta in MCC Theatre's Charm. He was first introduced to television audiences as a guest-star in the critically-acclaimed episode of Law & Order: SVU titled Service, addressing the issues faced by transgender military service members. Vilsón's other TV credits include Tom Swift (series regular), A League Of Their Own (recurring), Quantum Leap, The Blacklist and Blindspot (recurring). His film credits include Ben is Back, Disclosure, The Kitchen and The Lost Holliday starring Vivica A. Fox.
