"Come on in, they got chips!" Freestyle Digital Media has revealed a trailer for an indie comedy film called Surprise!, the second feature film from filmmaker Nate Hapke. This will be out on VOD to watch in August if anyone wants to join the party. In the film, Ethan throws a surprise birthday party for his girlfriend Jane, with plans to propose later that night, but despite all his careful planning, things quickly go awry. Sibling rivalries cause conflict, exes show up uninvited, and Grandma even stops by to take back the family ring... Luckily, Ethan and Jane’s friends are as compassionate as they are chaotic, and they help the couple to find their way to a happy ending. A trailer has been released for She & Her, an upcoming film starring Daytime Emmy and Indie Series Award winner Carolyn Hennesy (Diane on General Hospital).

Hennesy plays Poppy Sinclaire, an aging ex-actress whose world is turned upside down when young up-and-comer Mattie Morris (Mackenzie Breeden) drags her out of her self imposed exile, and convinces her to share her story of Hollywood abuse. Together with super-producer Addie Banks (Gwen Hillier), the women work through their shared traumas as they fight and forgive, ultimately taking back the narrative, and shaping a future that they want to live in.
