- Graduated from Dartmouth College, where he triple majored in English Literature, Film Studies and Philosophy.
- Attended the 2008 Sundance Feature Film Program, including the January Screenwriters Lab, June Directors Lab, June Screenwriters Lab, and July Composers Lab.
