In only 17 minutes the director takes on a difficult theme such as the conflict between wanting to refuse and needing to accept the truth and sheds light on the harshness of American wars and institutions. This is a powerful and tragic film that will be hard to forget. A film with a very fitting title which can be related both to the soldier who is dead, yet gives life to the film, and to the two young girls whose dancing and singing remind us that, no matter what, life must go on.
