Executive Director / Producer
Tige Charity (pronounced TIE-jee) is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana who now resides in in Los Angeles, California with her husband, actor Antonio D. Charity and their daughter, Ebony Jewel Charity. She is the oldest daughter of Michael & Wilma Johnson. She has one sister, Melanie Johnson.

Mrs. Charity holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Oral Roberts University and an MBA in Nonprofit Management from American Jewish University. She has been a fellow in the prestigious City Scholars Fellowship Foundation's CEO Leadership Program since 2017 and a member of the Women Presidents Organization since 2021.

In May 2009, Mrs. Charity founded Kids in the Spotlight, Inc. (KITS), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing youth in foster care with an outlet and platform for storytelling and filmmaking as a means of healing. Starting with zero funding, she grew the organization to an operating budget of over $2,000,000. In January 2023, she launched the KITS Production Studio with Purpose in Van Nuys, CA. A unique, full-service production studio that offers rentals to industry professionals and connects youth aging out of foster care to jobs in the entertainment industry through its workforce development program, creating income opportunities that drive positive outcomes.

Mrs. Charity is the dynamic host of Leadership Realities, a compelling podcast where top C-Suite leaders share their experiences, insights, and tools, offering valuable solutions to the challenges faced by both seasoned and aspiring leaders. In her inspiring book, Not Your 9-to-5 Girl, available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble, Charity chronicles her personal journey of overcoming discrimination, rejection, and self-doubt to walking in purpose. This transformative experience motivated her to become a social entrepreneur and establish Kids in the Spotlight, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth through the arts.

As a TEDX Speaker, Mrs. Charity uses her platform to shed light on the realities of youth in foster care and to inspire, ignite, and invigorate Social Entrepreneurs, community leaders and young adults to walk in their God-given purpose with compassion, kindness, and empathy.

Mrs. Charity has received the following Awards: African American Channel Ubuntu Award David Lieber Leadership Award Whispers from Children's Heart Foundation Legacy Award Black Women Lawyers Foundation Community Service Award The Multicultural International Motion Picture Associations Community Service Award The Golden Heart L.O.V.E. Award Unsung Hero Leadership Award Vessels of Honor C.O.D.E. of Honor Award

Mrs. Charity's work has been featured on several television and media platforms such as The Golden Globes, The Kelly Clarkson Show, Entertainment Tonight, The Insider, The Jim Jefferies Show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Fox Soul (On the 7 with Dr. Sean Show), Fox Soul (Tammi Mac Late Show), KNBC News, Fox 11 News, ABC 7 News, Telemundo News, and TEDxInglewood.
