‘Aew: Collision’ Review (Aug 16th 2025)
Image
Welcome to this week’s review of Aew: Collision, which brings wrestling back to Saturday nights. We’ve got the commentary team of Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness calling the action, so let’s get into our review!

Match #1: Jon Moxley and Wheeler Yuta def. JetSpeed The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:

With Moxley owning back to back victories over “Speedball” Mike Bailey and “The Jet” Kevin Knight, JetSpeed came together to try and stop their losing streak against The Death Riders in tag team action. They were a perfect 4-0 as a team on Collision, but this was their toughest test yet. JetSpeed clearly knew they had to get to work early, and hit stereo planchas onto Moxley and Yuta. After leaving Mox laying on the outside, Bailey and Knight went to work singling out Yuta in the ring. The plan worked beautifully until Moxley recovered. He evened the score,...

‘Aew: Dynamite’ Review (Aug 13th 2025)
Image
Welcome to this week’s review of Aew: Dynamite, which was broadcast live from the Andrew J Brady Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Let’s get straight into the review!

Match #1: Jon Moxley def. Kevin Knight The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:

We went outside the arena to see Cincinnati’s own Jon Moxley, Marina Shafir, and Wheeler Yuta preparing to make their way inside the building, but not before Moxley sent a message. “The Jet” Kevin Knight made his way to the ring with JetSpeed partner “Speedball” Mike Bailey in an effort to combat the constant numbers game of the Death Riders. Knight jump-started the match by charging Moxley with a flying kick to the head, which clearly stunned Mox. However, Knight was a bit overzealous, as he tried to trade strikes with Moxley on multiple occasions, which only seemed to fire up Mox more. Not even a second later,...

What happens when creators don’t want to pay for Guinness World Records?
Image
Guinness World Records really digs content creators. It’s crowned numerous YouTubers with their own records: MrBeast has one for running the world’s most-subscribed-to YouTube channel, JackSucksAtLife has one for running the most channels with over 100,000 subscribers, the Velázquez siblings have one for earning the most Diamond Play Buttons in a single family, Airrack has two–one for making the world’s largest pizza, and one for visiting the most fast food restaurants in 24 hours.

And creators like Guinness, too. Creators often feature the book’s record certifiers in their videos, and the record is a sort of badge of honor–an undeniable “I did this first” for people who have spent their careers innovating online video.

But in case you didn’t know, we’ll let you in on a somewhat little-known fact of the Guinness record process: Anyone can submit a potential record for free, but if...

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew: Dynamite, which was broadcast live from Cleveland, Ohio. Let’s get straight into the review!

Match #1: Jon Moxley def. Speedball Mike Bailey The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:

In an explosive singles contest on Aew Dynamite, Jon Moxley faced off against Speedball Mike Bailey in a hard-hitting match. The bout began intensely, with Bailey delivering precise strikes and a swift dropkick that sent Moxley reeling. Capitalizing on his momentum, Bailey executed an impressive backflip knee drop, stunning Moxley at ringside. However, Moxley quickly regained control, wrenching Bailey’s finger gruesomely and delivering a powerful Avalanche Butterfly Suplex from the top rope. Bailey mounted a spirited comeback, hitting Moxley with a pinpoint missile dropkick and a stunning Shooting Star Press for a close two-count. Displaying his adept submission skills, Bailey transitioned smoothly into a triangle choke and a tight Juji Gatame cross armbreaker,...

‘Aew: Dynamite’ Review (Jul 23rd 2025)
Image
Welcome to this week’s review of Aew: Dynamite, which was broadcast once again from the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, Illinois. Let’s get straight into the review!

Match #1: “Hangman” Adam Page def. Wheeler Yuta The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:

With Wheeler Yuta already in the ring, “Hangman” Adam Page made his entrance for the opening contest of Aew Dynamite–but before Page could even step through the ropes, Yuta struck. Launching a surprise assault, Yuta blindsided the Aew World Champion with a cheap shot from behind, triggering immediate chaos even before the bell rang. Yuta’s early momentum continued with a suicide dive to the outside, but Page swiftly regained control, violently hurling Yuta into the barricade multiple times. Back inside the ring, Page showcased his signature power and precision, blasting Yuta with a fallaway slam and a high boot. He then sent Yuta...

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew: Dynamite, which was broadcast from the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, Illinois. Let’s get straight into the review of the post-All In: Texas show!

Match #1: Kyle Fletcher def. Mascara Dorada The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:

Fletcher wasted no time, opening with a blistering high boot and grounding Dorada with heavy right hands before tearing at his mask. The strategy was clear: keep the high-flyer on the mat. But Dorada wouldn’t stay grounded for long. The luchador stunned the crowd with an unreal slingshot missile dropkick — planting his foot not on the ropes, but on the ring post to launch himself back into the action. Fletcher regained control with a well-timed counter, popping Dorada into the air and planting him with a twisting side slam reminiscent of a Bossman Slam. Back live, Fletcher stayed on the attack...

Match #1: Paragon def. Kyle Fletcher & RPG Vice (Trent Beretta and Rocky Romero) The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:

Early in the match, Paragon strategically targeted Trent Beretta, isolating him from his corner and employing aggressive tandem maneuvers, including a punishing assisted neckbreaker. Once the Don Callis Family managed to turn the tables even just slightly. The action escalated when Lance Archer intervened, choke-slamming Kyle O’Reilly onto the ring apron. Ospreay and Swerve entered the arena hastily, clearly caught off guard, as Ospreay taped his wrists en route to the ring. The match opened with a respectful handshake, signifying mutual respect despite recent tensions. Both men displayed remarkable agility and endurance, engaging in rapid exchanges and impressive aerial maneuvers, including Ospreay’s stunning Sasuke Special dive and Swerve’s impactful Swerve Stomp. Both competitors started aggressively, with Briscoe immediately employing his signature “Redneck Kung Fu,” raining blows onto Moxley and delivering a punishing series of strikes. Briscoe showcased agility and precision, notably executing a sharp baseball-slide uppercut and a scissor kick through the ropes to send Moxley reeling to the outside. The match momentum swung significantly due to interference by Wheeler Yuta, who distracted the referee allowing Moxley to send Briscoe face-first into the steel ring post, opening a nasty gash. 'Spider-Man: Beyond the Spiderverse' Daniel Kaluuya Star Got His Start 18 Years Ago
Image
Quick Links Daniel Kaluuya's First Big Role in 'Skins' Where Will Hobie's Story Go Next in the Spider-Verse Films?

With Sony's Spider-Verse trilogy finale indefinitely delayed after its initial March 2024 scheduled release date and the McU's Spider-Man 4 still in production, 2025 is shaping up to be a rather Spider-Man-less year. This is particularly devastating for fans of the animated feature, as Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse was a huge success both critically and commercially, managing to match the standard set by its predecessor, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

The Spider-Verse trilogy boasts a cast full of titans of the entertainment industry, its most recent installment including Oscar winner Daniel Kaluuya. His performance as Hobie Brown/Spider-Punk was so impactful that despite clocking in at a grand total of five minutes of screen time, there's a 35-minute analysis of his character on YouTube with 3 million views. Kaluuya is...
