Raz de la Torre has been a professional storyteller in film and television for over two decades and a dedicated educator since 2012. As a screenwriter, he co-wrote beloved films such as A Very Special Love, and as a director, he helmed the award-winning and critically acclaimed primetime series that have been recognised by the Asian Academy Creative Awards.
A CCP Gawad Alternatibo winner, two-time Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival finalist, two-time PMPC Star Awards nominee, and Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation awardee, Raz has made significant contributions to Philippine cinema and television. He also served as Executive Producer for the NCCA's Dayaw on ANC and is teaching Communication Studies and Broadcast Media Arts at the University of the Philippines.
Raz earned his Master's in Filmmaking with Distinction from the London Film School.
