Yvonne Littlewood was the first female producer and director for BBC Light Entertainment. Her first major work was as director of the only Eurovision Song Contest to be broadcast from BBC Television Centre in 1963.

Yvonne worked extensively with Petula Clark ,producing her BBC TV series "This is Petula Clark"(1966,1967), and "Sound of Petula" (1973,1974) as well as all of her BBC TV specials from 1967 to 1983. In addition ,Petula asked her to co-produce her NBC TV specials in the USA "Petula" (1968) and "Portrait of Petula" (1969).

Yvonne produced all of Nana Mouskouri's BBC TV series and specials from the late 60's to the early 80's which established Nana as a major star in the UK.

Yvonne is probably best known for producing the annual BBC TV Saturday night Val Doonican Shows for nearly 20 years ending in 1986.

In 1977 Yvonne produced "Perry Como's Olde English Christmas" produced by the BBC at the BBC TV Theatre in London for American Television also starring Petula Clark and Leo Sayer.

In 1986 ,Yvonne produced a Christmas show for James Galway called "Christmas Carol"
