Gary Davis studied Music Composition and Theroy at Rowan University in New Jersey under the Jazz Legend Manny Albam, who happened to Arranged is Legendary Uncle Richard Groove Holmes.
By 1979 he was working in New York City for Peter Brown of P & P Records also collaborating with Disco Legend Patrick Adams of Cloud One.
By 1981 He Co-founded Chocolate Star Records and later Entertainment as he began producing (40) Indie Features and Television, even working on several TV shows at WXEL PBS TV 42 including Emmy award-winning "South Florida Today", Talk about Money, Wealth and Wisdom and produced and directed"Reel Old Movies" and others, working on 1000s of shows...
Today he produces Music, Movies, Animation and Comic Books. In his career he has discovered a few Miami Bass Legends DJKJ, Kooley C, Jock D , DJ Whiz and others. His music has been sampled by Hip Hop Legends J Dilla, Styles P, Doom, Rome Streetz and others. His tunes have been remixed by Kenny Dope, Terry Hunter, Greg Wilson, 40 Thieves, Warehouse Preservation Society, Mr.Chinn, Knoe One and has collaborated with Baron Zen, James Pants, Inkswel, Andres Fox, Four Tet, Mikal Asher and countless others ..
