Amelie McKendry is a true professional with a tireless work ethic and a vibrant personality to match. This versatile American actress has made her mark in numerous popular TV shows, feature films, and commercials over nearly two decades.
Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, Amelie developed a passion for performing at a young age. Of UK and European descent, she was named after her great-grandmother, a Welsh opera singer. Encouraged by her supportive family, many of whom are artists and performers themselves, Amelie decided to pursue a career in acting after high school. She moved to Los Angeles and earned a B.A. in Theater Arts and Dance from California State University, Los Angeles. During her studies, she honed her professional skills, working steadily as an actress, dancer, and model. Come Fall, Amelie will be attending graduate studies at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, pursuing her Master's in Media Producing, with plans to graduate in 2027, and exciting new opportunities to follow soon.
Amelie's professional acting career began with her debut in the pilot episode of the TV show "Miss Match," starring Alicia Silverstone. Since then, she has maintained a constant presence on both big and small screens, amassing over 30 on-screen credits and becoming a member of SAG-AFTRA.
Her television credits include high-profile shows such as "Orange Is the New Black," "Law & Order: SVU," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "Hallmark," and the Emmy-winning HBO mini-series documentaries "The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst" and "A Wilderness of Error."
Selected feature films include "The Cutman," "Ella McCay," "Let Them Have Their Way," "NYC Rooftop Story," "All We Had" with Katie Holmes, "Norman" with Richard Gere, "Ovum," "Bubble Girl" with Abigail Hawk, and the horror film "Dry Bones."
