Wester Joseph was born in Miami, FL to Haitian immigrants. He has
worked on various projects as an indie composer, but his feature film
debut began with the surprise casting as musician Connell Lambert in
the movie, "Jayne Mansfield's Car". Billy Bob Thornton was on the hunt
for an actor who could act as well as he could perform lead guitar
live. He contacted Colonel Bruce Hampton, who personally recommended
West and got the two in touch.
