Diego Arnary

Diego Arnary is an Australian-Colombian actor.
He is the youngest of four siblings. He attended a private Catholic school in Bogota. From 1999 to 2002 He worked as cabin crew for Colombia's National flag carrier Avianca. In 2004 Diego completed his acting degree in dramatic arts at Victoria Hernández academy in Bogota City. His first few roles Colombian television were in Siguiendo el Rastro (2003), Padres e Hijos (2003-2005) and the Spanish remake of American Sitcom Married with Children, Casados con Hijos (2005) produced by Caracol TV and Columbia Pictures. In July 2005 he emigrated to Sydney Australia, where he continued his acting studies in the National Institute of Dramatic Art NIDA and The actors Centre.
During his annual visits to Colombia, he acted in the soap opera Por Amor (2006) by Telecolombia and Univision, Mujeres al Limite (2010) Colombiana de Television, La Diosa Coronada (2010) and Los Herederos del Monte (2011) both produced by RTI and Telemundo Internacional. In 2008 he appeared in the Australian reality TV show The Chopping Block, aired on the Nine Network. Other credits include Aussie film Prudence Pecker (2009). In 2012 he relocated to Mexico City, studying at Televisa's artistic center (CEA) and working as a model where he featured in Television commercials and prints. He appeared in Como Dice el Dicho (2012), La Rosa de Guadalupe (2013) and El Pecado de Camila (2013) all broadcast in el Canal de las Estrellas.
From 2014 to 2016 during the rise of social media Diego created Easier Than You Think, a Facebook blog that features his journey around the world, gaining widespread popularity which ultimately lead him to advocate for victims of bullying on a national campaign in his native country Colombia and neighboring Ecuador.
His efforts are supported by the media, appearing on television talk shows, news broadcasts, as well as newspaper and magazine articles. In 2017 a new adventure, Soldados 1.0, filmed at the Colombian Army base Tolemaida; Diego learned all the disciplines of being in the Army, competing against nineteen other competitors with the goal to become a soldier. The reality show was produced and broadcast by RCN TV, later distributed by Discovery Channel in Latin America. From 2018 to 2024 Diego stepped back from his career to focus on his health. In June 2024 he became an Australian citizen. In February 2025, he was cast in the film Anaconda by Hollywood director Tom Gormican.
