Netflix is resurrecting Fate: The Winx Saga after its cancelation with a graphic novel sequel, giving the show's cult following a chance to find out what is in store for the series' beloved characters. The upcoming graphic novel, titled Fate: The Winx Saga Vol. 1 Dark Destiny, will continue the story from where Season 2 left off. Writer Olivia Cuartero-Briggs promises a "female-centric and character-driven narrative", ensuring the beloved fictional universe is in capable hands. Independent comic publisher AfterShock Media’s Rive Gauche has tapped two new executives as it bolsters its team, naming David Siguarani EVP of film and television and Max Zupanovic director of domestic development.
Siguarani’s current TV credits as EP include Bonding for Netflix, AMC Network’s The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula and Channel 4’s Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared. He was was previously SVP at Blackpills out of Europe, and VP of Development overseeing Turner’s Deluxe Studio.
Zupanovic has held development roles at ICM Partners, Paramount Pictures, and EOne working with IP including Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins and reboots of Transformers, Dungeons & Dragons Power Rangers, Oujia and Clue.

That's right, James Cameron is going Lord of the Rings on us. He plans on filming Avatar 2 and 3 simultaneously, and release them a year apart. While that's good news for Avatar fans, there's no word on when he plans to begin production. And I have to say, I'm impressed. Nearly a year after release and the movie is still releasing footage and even more DVD releases. In case you missed it, our own Olivia Briggs reported recently on a deleted scene that was definitely best left deleted. But my point still stands.
