Konami has released the first trailer for Return To Silent Hill, teasing the franchise's return to the big screen. Directed by Christopher Gans, who helmed the original 2006 movie, the 2024 feature is an adaptation of 2001's Silent Hill 2 and serves as a reboot of the movie series. In Return to Silent Hill, Jeremy Irvine's James Sunderland ventures into the unnerving fog of Silent Hill in hopes of finding his love, unprepared for the mind-shattering horrors within.

A new sneak peek has been revealed for the upcoming film Return to Silent Hill. The movie is directly inspired by Silent Hill 2, which has a video game remake in the works and remains one of the franchise's most beloved installments.
On May 30, a special transmission was streamed that provided a deep look at the upcoming Silent Hill 2 video game remake. Also included in the video was some brief footage from Return to Silent Hill along with some behind-the-scenes snippets and some comments from director Christophe Gans. The footage reveals a look at actor Jeremy Irvine in the role of James Sunderland, the protagonist from Silent Hill 2, and it also suggests that the movie will be very faithful to the game. The transmission video, along with screenshots of the Return to Silent Hill footage, can be seen below.

Following its acclaimed run at The Bridge Theatre in London, David Hare’s Straight Line Crazy starring Ralph Fiennes as New York powerbroker Robert Moses will make its Big Apple Off Broadway debut this fall at The Shed. Directed by Nicholas Hytner and Jamie Armitage, the play will run October 18-December 18.
The announcement was made Monday by producers Alex Poots, artistic director and CEO of The Shed; Madani Younis, chief executive producer of The Shed; and Tim Levy, co-director of the London Theatre Company.
