Bandar is an alumnus of the esteemed American Film Institute Conservatory in Los Angeles, where he earned his Master of Fine Arts in Directing.
His directorial debut, "Peace after Marriage," featuring Hiam Abbass, not only earned acclaim at over 50 international film festivals but also secured the prestigious "Creative Promise Award" at the Tribeca Film Festival. Venturing into the world of theater, Bandar's stage-play "Side by Side" premiered off-off-Broadway at the American Theater of Actors in New York City.
Additionally, as a versatile artist, Bandar showcased his acting talent off-Broadway in the acclaimed stage-play "Back of the Throat," directed by Jim Simpson, at the Flea Theater.
