He directed a short film titled Fawns which appeared in Vice Films The Fourth Dimension alongside films by Harmony Korine and Alexey Fedorchenko. The film played at Tribeca Film Festival, San Francisco International Film Festival, Edinburgh Film Festival, among others. His previous short, The Incident, screened at the New Horizons Film Festival and Shanghai International Film Festival. His feature-length adaptation of The Incident was selected for the Sundance Screenwriting and Directing labs as well as Sundance's Reading series.
