Taiwo Obude porpularly known as Djbudtee, actually started with the name Taiwolee, most of his friends and family know him with that name untill he decided to change it to djbudetee years later when he started as pro deejay, he was born in Benin city Edo state Nigeria, to Chief Alex Osagiator Obude and Mrs Omosede Christiana Obude ( nee Igbinoba).
Taiwo Obude is the first of twins, he was raised in a poligamous home of Chief Alex obude in Uselu. Djbudetee has no regret that he has many brothers and sisters its only good for him especially now when he has to go on holiday, visiting many family members makes him happy.
Taiwo attended olua Primary school from 1972 to 1978, then he proceeded to attend Sapele Technical college from 1978 to 1983, while attending sapele tech, Djbudetee was a prominent member of the dramatic union of the school.
In 1983 he went to further his education at the porpular Auchi politechniek Auchi, where he studied Mechanical/production engineering, though that was not was he intended to study but due to the pressure from his dad, he had no choice, budetee wanted to study Arts and social studies.
while in Nigeria, budetee was active in alot of club activities he was a prominent member of some of the famous clubs in Edo state Nigeria such as Stars night club, the limit night club, Lisa mona, frequenting popis corner and cute fellows, all in Benin city.
djbudetee enjoyed the arts of social life, that he decided to be organising his own shows inviting the area boys and girls usuing the town hall in uselu, he loved music so much that he will do anything to be in any event that involved playing music.
Djbudetee looked up to his uncle then one of the famous deejay from Edo state, Monday midnight, he wanted to be like him, and he started buying and listening to his mixtape that was made then on cassette, that was was when Djbudetee decided that he was going to become a Dj.
His first stint in playing as a deejay was when the auntie who own a good Samaritan social centre, opened a club in uselu, Edo State called Flora Night club, which was under the management of Roy Imohimi.
In 1989 djbudetee decided to travel to Europe to pursue his dreams of becoming an international deejay, he began to study in a Dj school in Amsterdam.
In that same year Djbudetee went back to Nigeria to get things right and that took him another two years.
In 1991, djbudetee decided to travel again to Europe this time ready and fully prepared.
While in he started playing in small parties with friends, the passion for music was so high that he will be playing music all day at home, buying all top single Cds, it doesn't matter if he had money to eat or not, to him it was all about music, then Afro beat music was not known in Europe it was all about American Jam, but Djbudetee knew one day the Afro beat music would come and overtake the American music so he kept encouraging his friends to keep listening and supporting Afro beat music.
In 1997, while playing at a friends party in Budel, he was approched by his friend Leonard Ajayi about his dream to make films, and that he would like it if djbudetee will want to be part of it, but he replied that he cannot Act, but his friend said it does not matter he will learn, and that was how djbudetee found himself in making movies, and he acted in the first ever movie produced and directed by an African in Europe, the movies was underpressure. Under pressure became a house hold name and was accepted by all Nigerian in Nigeria, because of the impact of that movie a comapny was born, Double A Entertainment, registerd by T,T,L, with Dj Budetee ( actor).
The next movie was going to be big, in 1999/2000 the movie Dapo Jnr,was made this movie featured stars as Liz Benson, Saint Obi and many more, djbudetee was interviewd then by Ecomuim magazine and was given a center page with the tiltle "iam good at what i do". During the cause of movie making. Djbudetee along side Double 'A'Entertainemt went into music promotion, and they successfully promoted their first Artist, Tony one Week, after that successful promotion the sameyear they went ahead to promote an Edo prominent Artist with the name Ogie super star, followed by Dr sunshine and Dr Collins Okë , a veteran Bini artist from Edo State with his band, to play live concerts all over Europe. In 2000, djbudetee was featured in another movie, produced and directed by late kenendy Oviahon. In 2001, djbudetee palyed a role in another movie called "Sins of Seduction, produced by Rita Azenabor and Directed by Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen, and featured the likes of Patience Ozorkwo and Jim Iyke., the movie sins of seduction gave djbudetee his first award as an actor. djbudetee played an active role in the film ( Holland heat) produced in 2002 , subsequently another movie from Amsterdam (with love ) in 2003. In 2002 djbudetee was featured in a movie Street of Italy, directed by Tony Akinyemi and produced by leonard Ajayi, the movie featured Nigeria prominent actresses such as Shan George and Victoria Inyama. In 2003 Djbudetee also played in the movie Ticket to Europe produced and directed by Gabriel Mounagor,the movie featured the likes of Late Sam locco. 2006 Djbudetee had the chance to act in an international movie, which was procuced by ducth movie company for the dutch cinema, bolletjes Blue produced by the Box. In 2007 djbudetee did an advertisment spot for the Netherland Tv channel NOS1, there after djbudetee went stardom, to act in series of movie, he was also known for Trouble in Holland.Miva actuel. From 2008 djbudetee decided to take a chance again deejaying, he went to deejay school for two months just to become professional in it, and learn some good Technics . Djbudetee had played lots of big screen both in Spain, Nigeria and in Holland , playing in a block buster movie called Unpredictable Journey the movie has won both local and international recognition all over the world. Djbudetee started playing in clubs and big events, both in Holland, Germany, Belgium,France, Italy, United kingdom, Finland, Luxembourg, Nigeria and many more. During the early massive sold out gigs of Deejay Budetee'S gig, his fans and folks gave him a nick ( the most travelled dj) he is also one of the front runner working so hard to give a voice to European based artists, in his quest for people to recognise African artistes resident in diaspora. he decided to set up an internet radio station, with over 60 thousand listeners daily, dedicated to playing only EU based music, this feat also gave him an award in Belgium as the best EU promoter of the year.
