Ann Hagemann

Ann, (without an E), Hagemann, is an American Actor who believes in "telling stories that need to be told." She was born and raised in the Midwest, (specifically Central IL.), and while she enjoys working wherever the project takes her, she still loves her "wide open spaces!" Like many film/TV actors, she began her career in live theatre playing roles like Catherine Holly from "Suddenly Last Summer" by the great Tennessee Williams, Eva Peron in "Evita," the Narrator in "Joseph...Dreamcoat," Peter in "Peter Pan," Eliza Doolittle in "My Fair Lady," to mention a few.

On screen Ann Co-Starred with Emmy winning actress Sharon Gless in "Hannah Free," an independent feature film that received Best Picture at numerous US & European Film Festivals including Frameline in San Francisco. She shot the pilot "Rock and a Hard Place" with comedian Jim Breuer and played opposite Eddie Steeples in the dark comedy "Farewell Charlie." She's proud to have worked on the film "Jenny's Wedding" starring Kathryn Heigl and Alexis Bledel and had a blast playing the infamous serial killer Belle Gunness in "Belle." In 2019 Ann Co-Starred in "Chicago Fire" as Lila.

For the past few years Ann has also had a project of her own in development. "Say it in German," a period drama, is a feature based on true events that occurred in the Midwest during WWII. Told from the perspective of 3 German American children who are faced with war time farming life, their beloved Daddy's TB diagnosis, and anti-German sentiment...Sarah Drew, (Grey's Anatomy/Mom's Night Out/Cruel Summer), is attached. The screenplay has received the coveted Parents Television & Film Council of America Seal, the same distinction given to "The Blind Side" starring Sandra Bullock. Principal Photography is projected for summer of 2022.
