Nicolas Buitrago

Nico was born on April 29. 1977 in Bogota, Colombia. He was the second child to his colombian parents.
Immigrating to Germany in 1980, he grew up in Cologne until leaving to Munich to live by his own in 1998. After finishing college in 2000, he left Munich to a self finding trip to Colombia and the United States, where he discovers him wanting to become an Actor.
On sep. 11th 2001 he was in Miami awaiting his first lessons at Steward Salomons 'Creative Workshops'. After the atacs, with a terrified US, Nico called Steward asking if the workshop was going to start. Stewards answer: "... we are not going to let torrorists rule our live..." His plans to visit a Conservatory Acting School in NY, NewYork, have nevertheless became obsolete by the new studentvisa restrictions after this tragedy. So he decided to return to munich after finishing a couple of courses at 'Creative Workshops'. There he started his Acting School in march 2002. After finishing the I.S.S.A after only two and a half years, he had an extremly successful debut in the independent, 'Theater und so fort...'.
