Joe was born early one January morning during the year of our lord, nineteen-eighty. A year or so after being born Joe moved with his then parents to Whitney, Texas where he lived out his infancy in an old trolley car. His parents divorced around age three, where Joe always held his father in high regard as he lived with his mother. At age 8 he watched Robocop, which was the first rated R film he was allowed to see. This movie sparked an interest in not only sci/if, but in movie making in general. Age 15 he watched Pulp Fiction and Dawn Of The Dead. The spark hits a bit. It wasn't until he was 17 that it was sparked yet again while watching Clerks that he realized that his fondness for writing short stories could be transferred into writing scripts. After watching only 4 movies in his entire life, he felt writing them would be a nice fit, especially since it was the only way he'd be able to view more movies.

Years passed and finally he shot his first short movie in 2003 with friends Chris Hart and Chad Pallett. It was titled Strangers In The Night, and disliked by most who viewed it. Many, many, many more shorts were made over the course of 3 years, including an Icelandic hit, the Beer Is Not An Option trilogy plus part four. It was also around this time that he started a my space page, and his life changed forever. Finally, after many unfinished scripts, he finished his first feature script titled Here Comes Chuck, a comedy about aliens who live among us peacefully.

Before the movie could be made, he moved from the comforts of Bedford, Texas with his sweetheart to the rural bunghole Concord, North Carolina due to her business. During the two years in NC Joe and his wife Cynthia had a son named Joseph Ian Francis, born August 31, 2006. Five months before his birth, Joe stared writing a book for his son titled Tully Has An Earthworm Arm, and intends on giving it to him on his 8th birthday.

It was also during these two years that Joe started work on his first feature film, a horror called Survival. He wrote it with "indie horror specialist" Kevin Woods; the South Carolina star. The movie was shot over the course of six days in the summer of two thousand six, and will be distributed by York Entertainment in 2008.

As of 03/08 Joe is working on a trilogy of comedies revolving around the last day of the world, entertaining the possibility of making another horror picture, and keeping a happy marriage by doing freelance with his wife's company; Your Candid Memories (yourcandidmemories.com) as well as his own.
