Per Deadline, online ticket sales for the next entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe have projected a box office haul of more than $95 million over the course of Captain America: Brave New World's four-day opening weekend. Captain America: Brave New World is set to arrive in theaters on Valentine's Day on Friday, February 14, and will enjoy an extra slate of audiences courtesy of the President's Day holiday the following Monday.

Captain America: Brave New World may be in a world of trouble if early indicators stay true. The penultimate Phase Five Marvel Cinematic Universe film's ticket pre-sales trail a recent and infamous Marvel flop, providing potential warning signs for its box-office run.

According to box office analyst Luiz Fernando (via ComicBookMovie.com), Brave New World's pre-sales since tickets went available last Friday are nearly one-and-a-half times better than the Captain Marvel sequel, The Marvels. One exciting debut for the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been left on the cutting room floor. Seth Rollins, one of WWE's biggest stars, has confirmed that he will not be appearing in the final cut of the upcoming MCU film Captain America: Brave New World.
