Mark Thomas Casey Haapala was born in Irvine, CA. A graduate of Loyola Marymount University, he is a member of the Producers Guild of America, SAG/AFTRA, former Directors Guild of America Trainee and an award winning director. In 2012 his short film won the Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival. In 2014, Haapala's TV pilot screened at the New York Television Festival and would later be optioned by Lifetime. He is known for his work on Dog It Down (2013), Entourage (2004), and NCIS: Los Angeles (2009).
