‘The Final Destination’ Embraced the Early Aughts 3D Trend and Dialed Up the Silliness
Image
The 3D resurgence of the early aughts had Hollywood in a vice grip thanks to advances in technology, and, by 2009, horror began to embrace the format in a big way. That included the fourth installment of the Final Destination franchise, The Final Destination.

The success of Final Destination 3 meant a sequel was inevitable, this one planned for 3D. Final Destination 2 scribe Eric Bress and director David R. Ellis returned, with the latter taking the helm because of the 3D. The sequel makes full use of its 3D, incorporating requisite CGI jump scares of flying car parts and viscera leaping out of the screen, which, in turn, dates this entry more quickly than its counterparts.

Not helping is that this sequel puts all its eggs in the baskets of 3D gimmicks and embellishing Death’s morbid sense of humor; The Final Destination dials up the puerile humor with its more expansive deaths,...

Final Destination: Bloodlines: Release Date, Cast, Plot, and All You Need to Know
Image
If you love horror, Final Destination isn’t just a movie—it’s a stress test for your imagination. Every object suddenly feels like a death trap. One minute, everything seems expected, and the next, someone is getting taken out by a freak accident so bizarre you’ll never look at everyday life the same way again.

Highways? Too risky. Roller coasters? Not unless a heart attack is desired. Airplane turbulence? Gripping the seat like it’s the last lifeline. Well, Death is back, and this time, it’s playing by new rules. Final Destination: Bloodlines is the sixth installment in the franchise, and it’s not just a reboot or another copy-paste sequel.

The creators have made it clear that this one will be distinct, switching up the formula that made the series famous. If you thought you knew how this franchise worked, think again—because this time, Death isn’t following the script.

Skeleton Crew: Star Wars Theory Reveals How Jude Law’s Jod Na Nawood is Force-Sensitive
Image
Spoiler Alert !!!This article contains spoiler for Skeleton Crew.

Skeleton Crew has been one of the better-received shows from Disney’s Star Wars canon, with fans actually happy about the subject of the episodes. While nowhere close to the best that was offered by the IP, the fact that there are no boycotts of the show is a win in itself, which is a very sad state of affairs for one of Hollywood’s biggest franchises.

Jude Law in Skeleton Crew || Credit: Disney

Jude Law’s character, Jod Na Nawood, is known to be Force-sensitive, and while the show is just getting started, there are theories about Nawood’s past, especially from sources like cast lists on sites like IMDb, which list another actor portraying a character with the same last name, which could point towards more complex history with the character.

Jude Law could be portraying an ex-Jedi Jude...

The Best Final Destination Characters, Ranked
Image
In most horror movies, the characters are nothing more than stereotypes. There's the jock, the promiscuous girl, the nerd, the stoner, and the survivor. It's a trope that horror fans have become familiar with over the years. If these tropes are not present in the movie, then in many cases the characters are nothing more than fodder. They exist solely to get killed off by the serial killer, ghost, demon, or whatever other supernatural force is terrorizing the movie.

The Final Destination franchise breaks the formula. While the survivors aren't always deep or overly nuanced, they are the focal point of the movies. Viewers either root for the characters to figure out how to outwit Death and survive, or they eagerly wait on the edge of their seats to see how creatively the characters will meet their inevitable demise. Whatever the case, the best films in the series are rounded...

Where to Stream All the ‘Final Destination’ Movies Right Now
Image
It’s always a good time to revisit the “Final Destination” movies, one of the goriest, most (re)watchable horror franchises of all time.

The cast of characters trying to dodge Death in each film changes (for the most part), but the enigmatic and menacing coroner William Bludworth (“Candyman” star Tony Todd) is in every installment except the fourth movie.

Here’s where you can stream all five movies, where people who survived catastrophic disasters are killed off in inventively gruesome ways.

Tony Todd in “Final Destination” (New Line Cinema)

“Final Destination” (2000)

In the first film, student Alex Browning (Devon Sawa) has a terrifying vision that the plane his French class is taking to Paris will explode, killing everyone. He freaks out and leaves the plane, as do several other students and one teacher. The flight does, in fact, go up in flames … and then people begin dying in the...

The Final Destination (2009) – Wtf Happened to This Horror Movie?
Devon Sawa, Ali Larter, Seann William Scott, Kerr Smith, Amanda Detmer, and Chad Donella in Destination finale (2000)
It’s time for another episode of the Wtf Happened to This Horror Movie? video series, and with this one we’re looking back at the fourth entry in the Final Destination franchise, a film called The Final Destination (watch it Here). This is the least popular of the five Final Destination movies we’ve seen to date – and you can hear all about it in the video embedded above!

Directed by David R. Ellis, who previously directed Final Destination 2, from a script written by Eric Bress (who worked on the script for Final Destination 2), The Final Destination has the following synopsis: While enjoying a day at the track, Nick O’Bannon has a horrific premonition of his friends and him all dying in a freak accident involving many racecars. Mere seconds before the vision comes true, he manages to convince them to leave. Although they cheat death then,...

Sugar Mountain Review
Sugar Mountain‘s core premise is decent enough. Faced with repossession of their dead mother’s fishing boat (due to a Harvard concert pianist losing a couple of fingers after slipping on the deck), brothers Liam and Miles (Shane Coffey and Drew Roy), together with Miles’ girlfriend Lauren (Haley Webb) cook up a missing person hoax.

Here’s the plan: cocky and confident Miles will get into a staged bar fight with the quieter Liam over Lauren. The next day the brothers will go for a hike on the titular Sugar Mountain to try and clear the air, but get into a ‘fight’ midway up. Miles storms off into the wilderness and when he doesn’t return, Liam to raises the alarm in town. With Aron Ralston (of 127 Hours fame) firmly on their minds, they foresee a media storm that they’ll milk to the fullest when Miles ‘miraculously’ returns a fortnight later,...

Jason Momoa in Alaskan Survival Thriller 'Sugar Mountain' First Trailer
"I went missing up on that mountain right there? Well, we'd have a hell of a story." The first trailer for a survival thriller titled Sugar Mountain has arrived online. The film is about two brothers who decide to fake a disappearance in the Alaskan wilderness so they'll have a great survival story to sell. However, things don't go exactly as planned and they end up in even more trouble than before. Jason Momoa stars with Cary Elwes, Melora Walters, Anna Hutchison, John Karna, Drew Roy, Haley Webb and Shane Coffey. This looks like a bit of a mess, with lots of drama among characters and not enough actual survival, though it's hard to judge from this trailer alone. I'm curious but honestly not expecting that much from this. Here's the first official trailer for Richard Gray's Sugar Mountain, direct from YouTube: Two brothers, down on their luck, fake...

‘Sugar Mountain’ Trailer: Jason Momoa Is a Ruthless Thug in Survival Thriller
Cary Elwes, Jason Momoa, Haley Webb, Drew Roy, and Shane Coffey in Sugar Mountain (2016)
Jason Momoa is set to make his big debut as Aquaman in Zack Snyder’s “Justice League” next year, but before we see the actor as the DC Comics superhero fans can see him as a ruthless thug in “Sugar Mountain.”

The thriller centers around two brothers, deep in debt with Momoa, who fake a disappearance in the wilderness so they’ll have a great survival story to sell. Their hoax quickly turns sour when their plan puts their lives at risk.

The film is directed by Richard Gray and also stars Drew Roy, Haley Webb, Shane Coffey, and Cary Elwes as the local sheriff who begins to suspect fowl play.

Teen Wolf Season Finale Review: “Smoke & Mirrors” (Season 4, Episode 12)
Teen Wolf started its season four finale off by flipping the script on the Scott (Tyler Posey) that we know and have become quite fond of over the last four seasons. Scott has always been a character who defied the odds, and even tonight when they were unevenly stacked against him, he came out swinging – literally.

Scott became the elusive True Alpha through sheer willpower (unlike the other Alphas that viewers have been introduced to over the years who bought their position of power with death, either intentional or accidental). Scott is always one of the most optimistic members of the cast, but he’s also historically the one with the largest target painted on his forehead (thus the highest amount to be paid out in the deadpool) – and was clearly number one on Kate’s (Jill Wagner) list when she laid all her chips on the table.

There’s...

Teen Wolf Review: “De-Void” (Season 3, Episode 22)
As Teen Wolf continues to wind down its third season, the narrative has slowed way down. The second half of this season has pulled focus away from Deucalion (Gideon Emery) and his Alpha pack, and landed on Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) – an unfortunate side effect of the sacrifice he made to save his father from Ms. Blake (Haley Webb) and her revenge plot. Stiles has been a central character in the story all along, but has suddenly found himself the center of attention, in the worst possible way. The Nogitsune that has possessed him has taken over his life, and things are about to get even weirder – if that’s possible on a show where weird is the baseline for business as usual.

Stiles has always been a physically weak character. The infusion of the Nogitsune has not only altered him mentally, but it’s added an element to the...

Teen Wolf Review: “Riddled” (Season 3, Episode 18)
Teen Wolf offered up a dismal episode last night highlighting Stiles’ (Dylan O’Brien) further decent into mental instability. The first half conquered his delusional mind, and the second part covered his possession by an evil spirit. And in the meantime, all the other characters ran around town looking like chickens with their heads cut off trying to figure out what was really going on. If it wasn’t for Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) and his modicum of rational thought, there would have been no salvation.

There’s been a lot of speculation as to whether Stiles will make it through this season. The closer we get to the finale, the less likely that looks like it will happen. At the most basic level, Teen Wolf is a show about two best friends – Scott (Tyler Posey) and Stiles. Even after Scott was bitten and turned into a werewolf, their friendship was...

Teen Wolf Review: “Silverfinger” (Season 3, Episode 17)
Teen Wolf offered up an intense night of supernatural drama in Silverfinger, but the storyline took a disappointing turn when the curtains closed and Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) was left standing awkwardly in the spotlight. This show has been without a real antagonist since we entered into the second half of the season, leaving Duecalion (Gideon Emery) and Ms. Blake (Haley Webb) behind. Now, however, we finally have one. Unfortunately though, it’s someone we actually like.

All eyes were on Scott (Tyler Posey) and Kira (Arden Cho) going into this episode of Teen Wolf, and not without cause. When we left off last week, these two characters were the obvious choice for the spirit ninjas and their marked mission. They’d already made their way through most of the pack, not exactly the warm welcome home Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) may have been expecting, and if the sun hadn’t...

Teen Wolf Review: “Galvanize” (Season 3, Episode 15)
Even though time kept going in the real world, it seems to have stalled on Teen Wolf. Scott (Tyler Posey) and his pack are just now gearing up for some pre-Halloween mischief while the rest of us (at least in my area of the country) are bracing ourselves for another night of excessive snow fall. Luckily for us, Teen Wolf kept the temperature on high on tonight’s episode as they attempted to Galvanize the nonbelievers.

What better way to celebrate this haunted evening (for a second time) then by introducing a mentally unstable inmate to the mix. Normally the bad guys on Teen Wolf are limited to those of a more supernatural persuasion, but it appears that this shrapnel loving psychopath may have been supernaturally persuaded at the very least. Glowing eyes, sound familiar to anyone else?

Besides the carved pumpkin predominately featured at the beginning of the episode...

Beauty And The Beast season 2 episode 9 review: Don't Die On Me
Review Rachael Kates 15 Jan 2014 - 07:51

Don't presume to tell Vincent how to handle his beastliness, argues Rachael. Here's her review of Don't Die On Me...

This review contains spoilers.

2.9 Don't Die On Me

The episode kicks off with Tori flitting around Vincent and making me so angry I want to break things. To be perfectly clear, I’m not upset because of my deep and abiding belief that Catherine and Vincent’s true love will prevail. I’m not angry because Tori doesn’t want to hide being a beast either. After all, there’s nothing wrong with Tori wanting to be beastly her way, in the open air and sun. That’s totally fine by me. I do so love me some autonomy and freedom of choice. What I have a problem with is the way she’s trying to push that desire on to Vincent when he...

Teen Wolf Review: “Anchors” (Season 3, Episode 13)
Teen Wolf is officially back for the second half of season three, and fans can expect a slightly different pace going into it. The focus hasn’t entirely veered away from Miss Blake (Haley Webb) and her super psycho revenge plot against the Alpha pack, but I think we can safely assume that things have come to an end for her character. Kali (Felisha Terrell) may not have finished her off the first time around, but Peter (Ian Bohen) certainly doesn’t believe in leaving any loose ends.

Instead, gears have shifted away from the cause and fast-forwarded toward the effect. Scott (Tyler Posey), Allison (Crystal Reed), and Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) are now paying the unfortunate price for being heroes. If Teen Wolf has taught us anything, it’s that death is merely an obstacle. This wasn’t the first time we saw someone on the show cheat it,...

Teen Wolf Season 3 (Part 1) DVD – All About An Alpha War
Season 1 introduced Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) to the mysterious world of werewolves and hunters. Season 2 expands the mystical world to include other creatures, such as the Kanima, and explored the difficulty of creating an Alpha pack as Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) tried to recruit and create new members for his pack. Then in Season 3 the sleepy town of Beacon Hills got really crowded as many forms of werewolves and other worldly creatures seemed to descend upon it. There were suddenly werewolves, hunters, druids, a banshee and two Alphas that can join together to make a super werewolf. Everywhere you looked something dangerous was lurking around every dark corner.

Thus, it became more important than ever that Scott and Derek work together, along with their myriad of friends and allies to fight off the evil beings seeking to kill anyone they wanted to accomplish their sinister goals. Especially with the Darach (Haley Webb) collecting guardians,...

‘Teen Wolf’ Winter Finale Recap: Scott Faces His Final Battle With Jennifer
Scott asserted his dominance as the ‘True Alpha’ this week — but which member of ‘his’ pack is already plotting against him? Spoilers ahead!

The Aug. 19 mid-season finale of Teen Wolf was like a really irresponsible babysitter. It threw crazy stuff at us for an entire hour, spoiled us (with stunning CGI) and it failed to keep several very important people alive. That said, it was easily the most epic, climactic episode of the series — and it paved the way for Scott’s (Tyler Posey) next adventures, both as a wolf and as an angsty, hormonal teenager.

I guess the best way to make our way through this episode is by playing “Dead or Alive: Beacon Hills Edition.”

Dead

Jennifer: I never thought I’d say this about a Teen Wolf villain, but I’m really going to miss Haley Webb. Jennifer was the most well-rounded villain we’ve gotten so far,...

From the reveal of the Darach to Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) and Lydia’s (Holland Roden) long-awaited kiss, we want to know which jaw-droppers you think made Teen Wolf so good all summer.

10 Best Moments Of ‘Teen Wolf’ Season 3 — So Far

1. Two become one: Season three was epic from the start. Don’t even pretend like you didn’t freak out when Ethan (Charlie Carver) and Aiden (Max Carver) first stripped down and morphed into one, giant Alpha monster.

2. Danny & Ethan hook up: Considering Teen Wolf is often regarded as being one of the gayest shows on TV, I’m surprised it took us this long to get to an actual gay scene.

‘Teen Wolf’ Recap: A Shadow From Scott’s Past Returns
Plus, with only one episode until the dreaded lunar eclipse, Scott and his pack are brought to the brink of death. Yeah, it was one of those nights.

Family and sacrifice were the two main themes of Teen Wolf‘s Aug. 12 episode, as Scott (Tyler Posey), Stiles (Dylan O’Brien), Allison (Crystal Reed) and Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) all went to extreme lengths to save the people they love. Of course, we won’t know how successful their efforts were until next week’s mid-season finale, so for now, let’s just talk about tonight’s epic surprises.

Papa, Can You Hear Me?

The biggest surprise of this week’s episode was easily the reveal that the super-handsome FBI agent questioning Stiles wasn’t your run-of-the-mill super-handsome FBI agent; he also happens to be Scott’s super-handsome father! (Did I mention he’s super-handsome?)

I figured that executive producer Jeff Davis...

Teen Wolf Review: “The Overlooked” (Season 3, Episode 10)
There’s a lot to say after Teen Wolf dropped that gigantic bomb on us at the close of last week’s episode. We now know that Derek’s (Tyler Hoechlin) new girlfriend moonlights as the murderous, possibly (er, probably) psychotic Darach. Unfortunately, most of that extended commentary will have to wait for a post-season retrospective because tonight’s episode left us with more than enough to say.

Teen Wolf has consistently been a solid show, but now that MTV has given it a full 24-episode season we are finally getting to see an arc that isn’t limited by such strict time-constraints. That boost in time is most likely to thank for why this episode was, in my opinion, the most intense one we’ve seen to-date.

I think we can all agree that there have been some memorable moments over the past two and half seasons, but nothing...

‘Teen Wolf’ Recap: Deucalion Gives Scott A Dark Ultimatum
Everybody’s favorite ‘True Alpha’ is at a crossroad. Which way will he go?

Two very different storms hit Beacon Hills on the Aug. 5 episode of Teen Wolf – the literal storm (hurricane!) and the figurative storm (plots converging!) — and when the weather finally died down, Scott (Tyler Posey) was faced with his most difficult decision yet: Will he give himself over to Deucalion (Gideon Emery) to save the guardians?

We’ll have to wait until next week to find out for sure, but it definitely looks like Ty-Ty is willing to give into Duke’s demands. (Sorry if “Ty-Ty” and “Duke” are too cutesy for you, by the way. Making light of this show is the only way I can truly process it.)

For now, let’s focus on the insanity that was this week’s episode — and not just the part where Isaac (Daniel Sharman) totally said Allison (Crystal Reed) was hot.

What's that famous saying, the enemy of my enemy is my friend? That will be the theme of Teen Wolf's next episode as Scott (Tyler Hoechlin) and Scott (Tyler Posey) are forced to team up with the big bad Darach, who was revealed to be English teacher Ms. Blake (Haley Webb) in order to "save the pack." Oh, and they can also save Cora (Adelaide Kane), Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby) and Mama McCall (Melissa Ponzio). Gulp! We've got an exclusive preview of next week's episode and Teen Wolf fans might want to take a deep breath before watching and seeing the craziness that the MTV hit series has in store in its final three episodes. It seems "working with the Darach" is the only...

Teen Wolf Review: “The Girl Who Knew Too Much” (Season 3, Episode 9)
“Are you threatening me? You know what I’m gonna do? I’m gonna brake off an extra large branch of mountain ash, wrap it in wolfsbane, roll it in mistletoe, and shove it up your freakin’”

The cat (er, wolf) is out of the bag on this episode of Teen Wolf, but things don’t exactly go according to plan.

There’s been some debate between Scott (Tyler Posey) and Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) lately about filling the Sheriff in on all the behinds the scenes happenings. As much as Stiles was against it, the opportunity presented itself again on tonight’s episode of Teen Wolf and he just couldn’t postpone the inevitable any longer.

It’s ironic that Miss Blake (Haley Webb) put the idea in Stiles’ head to look at the entire board, considering what we now know about her. Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby) may have...

‘Teen Wolf’ Recap: The Darach’s Identity Is Finally Revealed
Plus, Lydia is a What now? As Reese Witherspoon would say, mid-incarceration, this episode was ‘beyond.’

There was a whole lot of finger pointing going on during the July 29 episode of Teen Wolf. Allison (Crystal Reed) spent most of the hour convinced her dad was the Darach, while Scott (Tyler Posey) accused Ms. Morrell of being behind all of this season’s brutal murders. As it turns out, they were Both wrong!

Ready to be spoiled? Don’t say I didn’t warn you… Oh, who am I kidding? If you didn’t watch the episode, and you’re still reading this, you deserve to be spoiled.

Ms. Blake Is The Darach!

Jennifer (Haley Webb) taught her most important lesson yet at the end of the episode, revealing herself to be the all-powerful killer everyone’s been scurred of for the past nine weeks. Apparently, she’s not quite as...

Teen Wolf Review: “Visionary” (Season 3, Episode 8)
We’ve seen Teen Wolf use flashbacks to move the story along before, but this episode took that concept to another level. ‘Visionary’ gave us a brand new perspective on what it means to be Derek Hale (Tyler Hoechlin).

With every broody supernatural being we encounter it seems inherent that there is a super-sappy back story to go along with them. We’ve seen it in The Vampire Diaries with Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley), and before that with Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) in Twilight, and pretty much with every related character since even before television and film existed.

This episode didn’t break down Derek completely, but it did give us a little more information to go off of. Before this we only had a vague sense of his character’s motivations. We could only assume that his prolonged teen angst was a result of a childhood abruptly cut short...

Teen Wolf Review: “Currents” (Season 3, Episode 7)
“Sweetheart, my last boyfriend was a homicidal lizard, so I think I can handle a werewolf.”

On this episode of Teen Wolf, our heroes were forced to makes some difficult decisions that left everyone feeling butterflies in their stomach.

Teamwork is a big part of this show and tonight we saw it in full-force when all the good guys converged in order to save both Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) and Dr. Deaton (Seth Gilliam). Unfortunately, the combined efforts of our favorite Beacon Hills werewolf club wasn’t enough to save everyone. Derek and Dr. Deaton managed to make it out of their respective predicaments, but not without a handsome price being paid.

It hasn’t been long since the pack mourned the loss of Erica (Gage Golightly), who up until this point we thought was just another casualty of the bank ploy. Now the pack has lost another member. Boyd (Sinqua Walls...

‘Teen Wolf’ Recap: A True Alpha Is Born
But sadly, another wolf bites the dust. Find out which pack member didn’t last the night!

The July 15 episode of Teen Wolf introduced yet another phrase into fans’ vocabularies, “True Alpha,” as Scott (Tyler Posey) reached a new level in his own personal wolf-y evolution. Apparently pushing himself beyond his limits to save — or at least attempt to save — Dr. Deaton’s life turned Scott into a full-blown alpha wolf without having to be turned by someone else! Score?

Yes, score! Especially since this apparently only happens every hundred years, or so. But what does Scott becoming a “True Alpha” mean for the rest of Beacon Hills’ furry population? That remains to be seen, and I can’t wait to find out!

Bye Bye, Boyd!

As much as we all thought Dr. Deaton was going to bite the proverbial bullet — come on, the dude was left hanging in the...

‘Teen Wolf’ Recap: Scott’s Pack Turns Suicidal & An Old Enemy Returns
Steamy hookups, wild revelations and one big shocking return! Can we come back to this motel next week?

I often find myself defending Teen Wolf to my non-viewing friends by saying things like, “Listen, I know it has ‘Teen’ in the title, but it’s not that angsty.” Then came the July 8 episode, in which Scott (Tyler Posey) and the rest of his pubescent pack were so overcome by their inner demons that that they all tried to kill themselves. So as cool and creepy as the episode was, my “it’s not that angsty” argument is hereby null and void.

Welcome To The ‘Motel California’

In what might have been the most irresponsible class trip ever, the gang checked into a sketchy motel — the references to “Hotel California” were anything but subtle — and those druid sacrifices we heard about last week began to take shape in the form of mass suicides.

Teen Wolf Review: “Unleashed” (Season 3, Episode 4)
In its first two seasons Teen Wolf pulled off some pretty spectacular storylines, and now we are finally getting a taste of what the show can do with twice as many episodes and half the rush.

There were some great moments on this episode of Teen Wolf, starting with a teacher that obviously hasn’t learned her lesson. Last week we saw Beacon Hill’s newest English teacher, Miss Blake (Haley Webb), find herself in a very wrong place at a very wrong time. Fortunately for her, she came out of it physically unharmed and with a real-life tragic hero to boot. And I’ll just go ahead and say what so many viewers were thinking, Derek Hale (Tyler Hoechlin) can save me anytime!

The ominous music and preposterous empty hallway 20 minutes before school starts aside, Miss Blake and Derek’s face time was actually pretty sweet. If these two...

Take a look as director Antoni Stutz's thriller opens in theaters June 21.

Antoni Stutz on Rushlights
In Antoni Stutz’s 90′s throwback neo-noir Rushlights, the casual flirtation between a very young, low-rent con-man, Billy (Josh Henderson), and ex-junkie turned lunch-counter waitress Sarah (Haley Webb) quickly grows into a torrid love affair in a tiny Texas hamlet, the type found in thrillers where money and guns often find themselves coming together in dangerous confluence, that bespeaks trouble. When Sarah’s roommate, with whom she has a remarkable resemblance, Od’s on heroin, she’s convinced by her cunning new lover to assume the dead woman’s identity after learning that she’s due to receive a hefty inheritance after the death of a wealthy …...

Film Noir (2007)
Rushlights's Moments of Illumination Quashed by Missteps
Film Noir (2007)
Film noir is a genre we largely associate with private dicks, feisty dames, and rain-slicked city streets. That is, until somebody decided perspiration was an effective substitute for precipitation, turning sunny locales like Miami or Los Angeles into suitable contemporary settings for these downbeat crime stories. In Rushlights, Billy (Josh Henderson) and Sarah (Haley Webb) are a down-and-out L.A. couple who chance upon what may be history's least advisable make-it-rich scheme. When Sarah's roommate, Ellen, overdoses, they act as any decent human beings would: by hastily packing a bag and getting the hell out of Del Rey (or wherever). While cooling their heels, they discover Billy threw a bunch of Ellen's things in Sarah's bag, including Ellen's driver's license and a letter de...

Teaser Photo and New Video Welcome Us to the Set of Teen Wolf Season 3
Filming just commenced on Season 3 of MTV's "Teen Wolf," and the network is releasing new info every week. First up are a teaser photo and a behind-the-scenes video in which the stars welcome cameras to the set and Tyler Posey and Dylan O'Brien answer some fan mail.

“Teen Wolf” stars Tyler Posey (Scott McCall), Crystal Reed (Allison Argent), Tyler Hoechlin (Derek Hale), Dylan O’Brien (Stiles), and Holland Roden (Lydia Martin). Season 3 guest stars include Haley Webb, twins Charlie and Max Carver (who also appear in the photo below), Adelaide Kane, and Felisha Terrell.

As the super-sized Season 3 (featuring 24 episodes) picks up, things are looking pretty grim for the gang, especially Isaac (Daniel Sharman), whose bloody, unconscious body is awoken (with jumper cables) by a girl we haven't yet met, and once he's able to orient himself, he's told by the shadowy figure that his memories have been sapped from him.
