Dagogo Diminas is a Nigerian film director and producer known for his exceptional makeup and special effects work in Nollywood films. He played a vital role in developing Nigeria's film industry, which is widely acclaimed for its prolific film production. Dagogo's talent in special effects has earned him numerous awards and recognition. After relocating to South Africa in 2000, he worked for over 15 years in the art departments of notable films, including award-winning productions like "U-Carmen" and "Breathe Umphefumlo." In 2013, he directed and produced his first film, "Stigma," which received critical acclaim and multiple awards. The movie addressed the stigmatization of individuals living with HIV/AIDS and made a significant impact through its screenings at various film festivals. Dagogo later collaborated with actress Hilda Dokubo on the film "Asawana" (2017), highlighting women's empowerment in the Niger Delta region. His educational background includes Theater Arts at the University of Port Harcourt, Digital Film Productions at the SAE Institute Berlin, Film Production at Middlesex University (UK), and a Master's in Directing Films/TV Productions from Bournemouth University (England).
