Isis Valverde is a 37-year-old Brazilian actress, born in Aiuruoca, Minas Gerais. With over 20 years of career, she became known for her roles in Brazilian soap operas such as Sinhá Moça (2006), Caminho das Índias (2009), Avenida Brasil (2012), A Força do Querer (2017), and Amor de Mãe (2019). She made her film debut in Faroeste Caboclo (2013). Currently, she is engaged to Marcus Buaiz. The actress has a son from a previous relationship.

Currently, Isis has more than 50 million followers on her social media platforms and has recently taken charge of managing her own career. She is involved in several upcoming national and international projects, including the Disney+ streaming series Maria e o Cangaço, in which she will portray Maria Bonita, Corrida dos Bichos, a feature film directed by Fernando Meirelles, and also Alarum, where she will appear alongside American actor and director Sylvester Stallone, as well as other projects soon to be announced.

At 16, she began working as a model and participating in advertising campaigns in Minas Gerais' capital.

Her passion for the arts started as a teenager, participating in local theater productions. At 18, she moved to Rio de Janeiro to pursue studies in performing arts.

Throughout her career, Isis has been nominated for and won several awards. Among them are the 2012 Men Of The Year Award (Woman of the Year tribute). She was recognized by Forbes in 2014 as one of the most influential young Brazilians. In 2023, she was nominated as Best Actress at the Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival, one of the most prestigious Brazilian film festivals in the United States.

She has already published a book of poetry and is preparing for her second release.
