Daisy Betts is an Australian actress best known for her role as Lieutenant Grace Shepard in ABC's 2012 TV series "Last Resort." She also starred as firefighter Rebecca Jones in "Chicago Fire." She worked alongside Kathy Bates, Alfred Molina, and Jean Smart in NBC's "Harry's Law" and had roles in "Girlfriend's Guide to Divorce", "Castle", and "Persons Unknown."

Daisy Betts Miller is an Australian actress who starred in "Out of the Blue" and "Persons Unknown." Betts appeared in the 2010 Australian independent motion picture "Caught Inside", directed by Adam Blaiklock and starring Ben Oxenbould, Sam Lyndon, Simon Lyndon, Leeanna Walsman, Harry Cook, and Peter Phelps; and starred in the ABC TV series "Last Resort" as Lieutenant Grace Shepard.

Daisy Betts was born in Sydney, New South Wales. She has three sisters. She studied commerce and psychology before deciding to pursue a career in acting. She has four children with her husband, Australian Olympic Boxer, Paul Miller.

Betts made her television debut as Amber, a minor character in the 2006 Australian TV movie "Small Claims." She had a small role as Natasha in the 2008 American horror film "Shutter" and a recurring role as Sally Blake, the wife of Chris Blake, on the 2007-2008 Australian TV series "Sea Patrol." In 2008, Betts performed as the major character Peta Lee on 59 episodes of the Australian/UK soap opera "Out of the Blue."

In 2010, she was cast as Janet Cooper on the NBC thriller "Persons Unknown"; the character was a single mother from San Francisco who owned a daycare center and was mysteriously abducted and found herself in a ghost town with several strangers, becoming the object of desire for several characters (male and female) in the town.

In 2014 she had a recurring role on "Chicago Fire" as Rebecca Jones. In 2016-17, Betts had recurring roles in "Castle", "Girlfriend's Guide to Divorce" and "The Player".

In 2019, Betts moved back to Australia to raise her four children and returned to acting in late 2022 with her starring role as Helen Smallbone in "Unsung Hero" the inspiring biopic about Grammy Award winning duo "for King & Country".

Australian film and television creative, Daisy Betts, has had numerous lead acting roles, nationally and internationally, in both television and film. Daisy trained at Australia's National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA) and with the Australian Speech and Communication Association. She also studied Directing at Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS).

Most recently, Daisy stars as the steadfast and inspiring, mother of seven, 'Helen Smallbone' in feature film, Unsung Hero - the uplifting biopic about the challenges and triumphs in the early years of Australian Grammy Award winning band, 'For King & Country' (Lionsgate, 2024).

In 2023 Daisy produced AACTA Award Nominated Short Film Ashes with her Childhood's End co-star and friend, Georgina Haig.

Daisy starred as 'Ellie' in the SyFy/NBCUniversal six-hour miniseries, Childhood's End, opposite Mike Vogel, Charles Dance, Julian McMahon and Georgina Haig - based on the iconic novel by Arthur C. Clarke. Childhood's End was nominated for a Critics' Choice Television Award regarding 'Best Movie Made for Television or Limited Series.'

Daisy recurred in the popular U.S comedy-drama Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce, as eccentric and charismatic billionaire, 'Gemma Sacco'. Daisy also recurred in NBC series, The Player, as 'Ginny' starring opposite Philip Winchester and Wesley Snipes. Daisy has worked with some of the best in the business. She is best known for her leading role of 'Grace Shepard,' in the ABC series, Last Resort, opposite Andre Braugher; as 'Bethany Sanders' opposite Kathy Bates and Alfred Molina in Harry's Law; and also for the role of 'Janet' in Persons Unknown, created by Christopher McQuarry, also starring Alan Ruck and Chadwick Boseman.

Fan favorite was Daisy's role as 'Rebecca Jones' in NBC series Chicago Fire.

Daisy's other television credits include the lead role of 'Peta' in Out of the Blue (Southern Star Productions), the role of 'Sally Blake' in Sea Patrol (for Australia's Nine Network), which recurred in Series 1, 2 and 5. She also played 'Jenny Constable' in All Saints, (Seven Network) and 'Amber' in the TV movie, Small Claims 3 (Network Ten).

Daisy starred in the lead role of 'Sam' in the Australian feature film thriller, Caught Inside, which premiered at the Sydney Film Festival 2010 and won the Showtime Audience Award. Daisy also played the character of 'Natasha' in the US feature film, Shutter, directed by Masayuki Ochai for 20TH Century Fox and New Regency Studios USA. Daisy played opposite Latino star Alex Meneses, as her sycophant assistant, in Weddings Inc (short, 2017).

Daisy is also experienced in television commercials, VR and voiceover work.
