Ruth Wilson, born on 13 January 1982, is an English actress. She is known for her performances in Les flingueuses (2006), Jane Eyre (2006), and as "Alice Morgan" in the BBC-TV psychological crime drama, Luther (2010), since 2010. She has also appeared in Anna Karenine (2012), Lone Ranger : Naissance d'un héros (2013), and Dans l'ombre de Mary : La Promesse de Walt Disney (2013). In 2014, she had a voice role in the film, Locke (2013), and began a starring role in the Showtime series, The Affair (2014).
