Kaya Coleman

Kaya Kimberley Coleman Prokopchuk, also known as Kaya Coleman, is a multi-disciplinary artist of Ukrainian and African-American descent. She has citizenship in Canada and the US and is known for Beyond Black Beauty (2024) and Jeu dangereux, héritage meutrier (2022).
She grew up in Calgary, where she balanced her time between sports, music and academia. After earning a BSc in Medical Molecular Biochemistry, she went on to pursue acting and completed the Rogues West Ensemble Acting program.
Kaya now spends her time between Calgary and LA and continues acting training, modeling, photography and writing. She is deeply committed to challenging outdated belief systems and hopes to inspire others to alchemize their pain into purpose.
